1 size up for comfort

these are really nice. nowhere near as nice as the homer II but still very nice. the length is pretty true to size but the height of the toe is tight so a size up is definately a good idea. I wear a 10 and bought these in 10 and 11 and i prefer the 11 for sure. the homer II fits comfortably true to size.

Cozy and comfy for casual city wear in Boston!

I got these to fill the gap between sneakers (or crocs) weather and snow boots weather for everyday city walking. I wanted something warm and water-resistant for cold and slightly inclement weather here in Boston and hoped these would fit the bill. They really do; between the wool outer and the synthetic lining, they're cozy when I walk the dog or walk to the grocery store, even in below-freezing temperatures. As for sizing, I normally wear a 9 1/2; because the sizing info recommended going a full size up due to the lining, I wasn't sure if I should go all the way up to 11 or stick with a 10. I decided to try a 10 and exchange if necessary. When I first put them on, I wasn't sure a 10 was big enough (the toe box felt a bit cramped) but wore them a bit to see how they felt after breaking in. It turns out that the inner fleece lining ends up squishing down a bit as the shoes break in, and a size 10 turned out to be just fine. Additionally, while the soles were stiff when I first put them on, after some walking they broke in nicely. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for wintery but not TOO wintery footwear for casual use. I do wish the lining were real fleece and not synthetic, but I'm sure the synthetic lets the manufacturer set a lower price point. It's a tradeoff I'm willing to make.

Nostalgia

I really really like this shoe. Is it the coolest looking shoe? Absolutely not; appropriately named, 'Homer' but oh my goodness you cannot get a more cozy slip in shoe is you tried (I dare you). When I look down at me feet, I'm reminded of my grampa who has been gone for decades so this shoe hits me in my heart as well. As far as sizing goes. I ordered an 8 as I wear 8.5 in women's and my foot has plenty of room. If I had ordered a 7 I fear my ankles would be choking so I like the fit of the 8 on me.

Jam it in , and when you're in it's like heaven.

Got the beauties and went to try them on. Getting your foot into em was a fricken chore. Had to really stretch to jam these feet into em. But once I got inside it was warm and amazingly soft. Such a good feeling. Comfortable and feel pretty sturdy like they're gonna hold up. Buy at least a size up. I had to return and repurchase to get the tight size.

Warm & comfortable slipper!

I love these slippers and wear them all the time in the house. They are warm and comfortable and give support while doing things around the house. My only recommendation would be to make them easier to slip on & off. I thought they'd slip on and off like the ankle boots. I ended up cutting the elastic and now my feet slide easily in and out.

These looked super comfy but

These looked super comfy but they are so stiff that they don't really give me the waterproof slippers thing I was hoping for. I will still wear them, but only on the boat. Fit-wise, they have the same challenges I always have with XtraTuf shoes and boots - too wide, no arch support (and not enough room to get an insert in there).

they are so comfortable i wear them as house shoes mainly in the winter here in Portland Maine that i often forget to change them for my actual outdoor boots when i leave the house for town. I wont realize it until i am at the hardware store or Harbor Fish market picking up something. Now i have 2 pairs of each color.

Snuggly, comfy, perfect

These Sherpa-lined slip is are impeccably designed with an attractive, classic wool body highlighted by a delightful red X. They have a little elastic to help ease the foot in and run true to size. Note that these are in men's sizes. Women should subtract two sizes to get the right shoe. (A men's 8 is a women's 6.)

I was concerned about size

I was concerned about size since we bought him a pair of size 9s awhile back in the short fishing boot. But these were perfect. He wears them all over, I love the bottom of the shoes and that they don't wear down. Totally worth it! They fit perfectly and he usually wears them without socks.

On the Coast......

Size is spot on. Okay lining but I thought for the price they could have been a little more comfortable inside, especially the cushion on the soles. However I like them but price should be more in the 60-80 range. Second pair of Xtratuf shoes in the last month. I like their selection.
