More foot-shaped than other brands
I recently moved to foot-shaped shoes like Altra for running. I decided to do the same for casual shoes. My Altra size for running is 10.5 and with other shoes that have narrow toe boxes, I have to move up to 11. With casual shoes, I normally buy 10. With these, I went with 43 as the wide toe box keeps me from having to size up. I tried 44 but they were too large. I hope this helps with sizing. The mink color is beautiful as well. They look really nice with green khakis or blue jeans.

Overall, I like this shoe. The footbed is supportive and I have lots for room to spread my toes. The exterior suede and interior lining are good quality. These will work a good travel shoe for me because of the comfort and the support. The one minor issue for me is that they are not very cushy, the foot bed is more firm. It is supportive, though, so I am happy that I bought them.
Comfortable and wide enough for me
I'm loving the comfort of these sneakers. Surprisingly, they fit well although I normally order wide sizes in other brands. I think that speaks to the width of the toe box. They're new so I haven't yet needed to think about cleaning them. I did have one problem. I made the mistake of wearing them for a vigorous half hour walk before they were broken in. A very painful blister developed on one heel. That finally healed so I wore them shopping today without incident.
Very Comfy & Supportive
These are my first Birkenstock shoes but I do have Finn Comfort shoes. These are as comfy as the Finn Comforts. I've not had these very long, so I can't attest to their durability but they seem very well made. The footbeds are made in Germany while the rest is from Portugal. Nothing Chinese here. I may buy another pair in a different color in the future. Finally, the sizing is accurate.

Extremely comfortable, but lace holes ripped so I had to return them. Suede seemed overly fragile.

I was disappointed that this Birkenstock shoe did not have a Birkenstock footbed. I have owned numerous Birkenstocks over the years. They always had the signature footbed. Otherwise, it's just another shoe.
