Well made and comfortable
I have had these for about 9 months now, and they have been my primary shoe on a few trips. They are really well made, comfortable (for me), and odor resistant. They came with a thin cork insole which pretty quickly crept up the heel on just my right foot — I think from driving — and became uncomfortable. These shoes are meant to be worn with or without an insole. Which is what I do. I replaced the non-functioning insoles with the thinnest Sole cork insoles REI had. I wear the shoes more without the insoles than with; the outsole is fairly thin and responsive, and without an insole you may feel more of a cobbled sidewalk in France than you want.

I was a bit surprised to see Vivo's being sold at REI. I got the Gobi II's in white. There is spacious room in the front for your toes to wiggle around. I wear toe spacers with these shoes and I have no issues with my pinky toe hitting the sidewall of the shoe. There is no support in the heels as these are barefoot shoes. The shoe has a simple design and looks great!! These shoes look long in pictures but you have to try and see them in person. They are proportionally balanced and do not look funky!
Great Everyday Shoe
A little stiff at first around the ankles but broke in perfectly after about 5 wears. Runs about a half size big; the 41 is perfect for a US 8.5.

High quality comfort
Awesome quality wide toe box, minimalist shoe. I have these and a pair of Xero brand shoes. These are more premium (hence higher cost). I bought these on a whim but am now looking at the full vivobarefoot lineup for future purchases.
