Flat to the floor
Great fit, the construction on top means it can only flex so much but that's going to be true for this kind of construction. Love the flat to the floor feel

Runs REALLY SMALL - size up a full size!
These are really nice looking shoes (black/black), and they are comfortable - but I have a 10.5/10.6" foot, ordered 9.5 (indicated for 10.8"), and do not have a full thumb width in the front of the shoe wearing a medium cushion sock. The toe box is also not very tall so I feel the upper on my big toe toenail while sitting in a chair. My larger foot is overhanging the sole for width; it feels light a tight sock, not a shoe. While the shoe is nice and wide and foot shaped, apparently it also needs to be sized up a full shoe size over what the chart is going to tell you to order based on your foot length, otherwise you're going to wear a hole in the toe end of the upper with your big toe toenail. I will wait for these to go on sale again and will definitely order them in the next half size up. I am excited to have a properly fitting pair, allowing for medium thickness socks and afternoon foot swelling.
Favorite pair of shoes
Most comfortable pair of leather shoes I have ever owned! They easily dress up or down depending on what you are wearing. I've had them for 4 years and they're still going strong. The shoes have outlived the original insoles and shoelaces that came with them and still have most of the tread left on the bottom. I'll eventually buy another for sure!
Nice casual sneaker
I like the fit and look of these shoes. They have Zero support for the plantar surface of the foot so they feel like walking barefoot. Comfortable but not designed for athletic activity. The wide toe bos is great. I ended up buying a thicker off the shelf insole to replace the one provided.
Xero hurt my feet.
Don’t normally write a review. But since REI denied my return.. I must warn others. Gave the shoes a try on multiple occasions. After every use I had foot pain. My arch did not like the flat shoes.
runs small
The other guy was right, they run very small. I will be returning my size 11 for a 12. I am usually an 11 but the sizing for these is a joke.
