I upgraded from an Aura AG 50 to this pack to go from overnight to multi-night hiking. I tried a few other offerings but Osprey comfort got me. This bag is very comfortable. Osprey put all their R&D into this bag and it shows. Other bags might have more space, or more compartment, or be lighter. Other packs might even offer other features ... but the Antigravity on this is exceptional. I am not strong at 120 pounds. I tried to put 12L of water into a HMG SouthWest and carrying it a tiny 1.25km I was already in pain. With the Osprey, I might be tired, but I won't be in pain. Nice touches * The day pack. That's just a kindness * The check-this-at-the-airport-bag, also a kindness to use for storing it at home. I plan to keep this for years and years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pack! This is the only pack I own for extended backpacking trips that does not hurt either my shoulders or hips. When I used this pack, I was carrying 35 pounds of gear and it didn’t feel like I was. I have an arthritic back and this pack has been the only pack that doesn’t aggravate my back. I would recommend this pack for anyone looking for a pack that has the same issue. It’s well worth the price if you are in the same situation.
