We truly love this tent. It’s so easy to set up and all of the components are very good quality. A little annoyed that the footprint is sold separately, but not a huge issue. Roomy and comfortable for two. It stood up to pretty high winds and heavy rain camping in the Pacific Northwest in October, so I am very happy with this purchase.
Very few tents I've found have this single pole shape. The twin crossbars provide really good overhead space. Other tents with this shape are much more expensive. The tent does have a few drawbacks from those more expensive tents. These are NOT killers and I would buy this tent again. Drawbacks are a lack of overhead and corner compartments for off floor storage (there ARE two envelope sized pockets at either end), the separate ground cover is not an exact fit, the only attachments are the metal grommets on the corners for the rainfly and inner tent (no clips for quick connection). I added these attachments to make setup in rainy conditions easier as well as an aftermarket loft for storage. I also added Velcro strips and cloth to cover the windows just in case I wanted to sleep in (I do however love the extra visibility when the rainfly is attached). The only thing I wish this tent had was a vent to allow extra circulation if needed.
This tent is the perfect car camping tent, and can even be used for backpacking. I use it for geologic fieldwork, and it has quickly become my go-to tent. It's labeled as a two-man tent, but it has plenty of room. Additionally, the Nomadix festival blanket fills in the tub perfectly, adding extra insulation and keeping the tub itself clean. I will be using this tent for many years.
Such an easy tent to set up. The size is perfect for 2 people or a couple with a small child or dog. It has enough room for your gear inside or under either of the vestibules. Not sure what the dude that wrote a review on here saying it was hard to figure out the rain fly? As I mentioned before, super easily to set up without any instructions. Quality is great as well for the price.
I have had this tent for over 6 years now. I purchased it over at William Sonoma (of all places haha..) Great for car camping. Could possibly used for a short backpacking trip but would be heavy. Materials and poles set up is a breeze. Easily fits myself and wife with bag in the middle if needed.
First time, Poles literally bent., just gently setting this tent up. The cover fabric not measured properly. So I can only put one side of the door cover down, if I put both. The zipper will rip. I posted a review on their website but won’t post it. They only post positive reviews. So they literally only have one review. That should say something. I’m embarrassed to tell anyone I paid $200 for this piece of…
LOVE the single pole set up. Super quick and easy. Dual entries is really nice. I'm a tall guy and there's plenty of space inside.
The stakes are plastic and one snapped immediately when placed in the earth. I’d rate this as a 1-person tent. If you do buy and bring a partner, don’t plan to bring anything else with you in the tent. The “vestibules” are virtually nonexistent. Overall, I’d say it’s water resistant, but the night we used it it rained and the water began to splash up into our tent, so don’t plan to use if it calls for rain. Great marketing, cute design, but not practical.
only have one pole and not having to feed them through loops made setting up a breeze! took 2 min
This tent has held up well. I recently used it while camping at Voyageurs National Park and it kept me dry on a very wet and windy night. It’s very spacious, with enough room to comfortable sleep 2 people and store lots of gear as well.
