Bought this for my daughter who is four years old. Tested it on 1/2/26. It Was cold and rainy. Early in the night it was around 40-45 degrees, and she was initially too warm in the sleeping bag (probably because she was excited and running around prior). As it got later and the weather cooled slightly she was happy to be in the sleeping bag and said it was “cozy.” Sleeping pad worked great, she loved it. I used a pump bag to fill it instead of letting it self inflate. For milder climates, like the north Bay Area and some of the CA North Coast, it’s great winter and early spring sleeping bag for kids. I think it might be too warm for summer but we’ll test that out when summer comes.
Wonderful kit, great quality, and our kids couldn't be happier. They say they are cozy and warm. Living room camp outs. Will update when used in the wild.
