Well made, but poor pocket design.

I purchased this bag to use when travelling as a personal item, in cities, and on the occasional shorter hikes. I've used smaller ones previously that had minimal organization and I really liked the idea of all the external pockets to keep things separated and have quick access. The construction and materials of bag seem very well made and seems like it would be able to take a beating so far, so I have no complaints there. Main pocket was incredibly spacious as well. I wanted to love this bag so much, especially considering the price. The setup of the bag pockets however is where I had the trouble. When wearing it over one shoulder you can sling the bag around to the front and access the main pocket from the top, but the orientation of the zippers for 3 of the external pockets then open facing down. So the quick access is no longer useful as I had to fight to keep things from falling out. I could switch shoulders, but then the main pocket becomes inaccessible and the bag has to be taken off if something is needed out of there. I could see this bag being really good for commuting, or if you don't need to be in and out of the bag constantly.

tends to flop over

Well engineered, lightweight, with great organization using a number of individual pockets with main pocket having an internal divider. Soil and stain repellant shell in a soft material. Good zippers. BUT bag does not have a rigid back so it tends to flop over on itself when loaded up. If this does not bother you, then go for it, but it bothers me so i don't wear if too often.

Great organizational bag, for all your EDC needs

I have seen other reviews that indicated a poor zipper design, based on the way the sling is carried, and then swung around to the front and having things fall out. I agree with that sentiment, but for $10, I went to a local shoe repair shop and just had them reverse the top and bottom zippers. Now it's perfect!
