More than I expected

I bought this to use for a trip to Chicago and I am so pleased with how well it worked. I used the anchor link key tether from my backpack to tether my phohe into the back pocket and it worked so well all day long when I needed to access my phone for photos, transit info, tickets, etc. without having to worry about dropping my phone. The tether that came with the sling also works well for this purpose. The interior space was ample for what I wanted to carry. I liked that I could switch the padded portion of the strap from right to left carry as I like to switch back and forth. It was comfortable, convenient, and durable--everything I wanted it to be.

This doesn’t feel like a PD product

I think this bag is quite overrated, there are plenty of similarly sized and styled bags with portability that are at a similar price point with a lot of more tasteful organization that listens to what edc customers want in 2024. This one is a stash bag, but even in that respect - it’s just lacking basic organization and tech. The magnet is a huge flaw on the open compartment and it leaves it unusable when the bag is packed decently. It’s just a miss - I think this is a really big miss for PD

A sling you can always bring!

Seamlessly integrates into peak designs' universe of combinable gear and of course provides this unique feel of high quality materials when used or petted. I used it daily for about 4 months now, and it's durable enough to withstand all the challenges that come with daily use. It does not matter really what you define as your daily activities - commuting, extensive travelling, outdoor adventures... Done it all and the 2L Outdoor Sling stood strong and kept up with me ;) Small minus - the strap seems to keep loosening a little over time (not enough to kick off a warranty claim for me) and when you ask me to be extra picky, I'd prefer a little less volume/size.

Great everyday sling

If you’re not carrying a camera daily, this 2L sling is a great EDC sling. I usually carry a lotion, hand sanitizer, chapstick, some tissues, and a wallet, and it feels pretty slim with that, despite the back padding and padded shoulder. I can also expand it with a few snacks and bars for my 2yo son. I’ve used an external carry strap to add an extra connection when biking with this. Another useful trick is keeping a basic carabiner on hand to clip on a small water bottle, which again I’m often doing for my toddler.

Neat little bag

The bag material is lightweight and moves to match the contents - billowing to accommodate more content or deflating to a thin body hugging bag. The magnet on the back could be a touch stronger and be incorporated so that the internal pockets pull toward and hug the “back wall” of the bag. Only other item of note is try embracing exterior bright color accents such as zipper pulls or the product initials on the bag exterior.

Perfect small sling

The impeccable construction, materials and thoughtfulness of the design make this sling a complete pleasure to use. I've primarily used it as a gym pouch (for my iPhone, keys, wallet, earphones and membership card), but keep finding excuses to use it for other purposes as well. The padded, magnetic back pocket for my phone, and the smaller elasticized pockets in the interior are particularly brilliant.

So freaking useful on our vacation.

I purchased this specifically for our vacation to Portugal this year to not only hold my phone, wallet and passport securely on me, but it came in Handy to carry snacks and toys for our little one as well as all of the euros that we needed to get. I’ll honestly be using this for any sort of vacation or traveling that we continue to do and when we’re out and about with our son

Great little bag for everyday use

I've been really happy with the Peak Design Outdoor Sling (2L). I’ve mainly been using it as a day-to-day carry to avoid stuffing my pockets, and for that purpose, it does the trick nicely. The sleek design and thoughtful little features make it super convenient without getting in the way. One thing to note: the back pocket designed for a phone doesn’t quite fit mine—mainly because I’ve got the Peak Design mobile tripod attached, which I also love, but it does add some bulk. That said, the pocket is still great for things you access often like a transport pass or small essentials. My only feedback would be to add a bit of non-slip material to the strap. When wearing it crossbody, it can sometimes slide toward the underarm, so a bit more grip would help it stay put. Otherwise, it’s an excellent sling, and it's become a perfect companion to my 30L and 40L Peak Design travel backpacks when I’m on the move.

Perfect EDC Sling

This has become maybe my most used accessory since its release. The size is perfect to get everything out of my pockets while still providing easy access and protection from the elements. Additionally, the internal design on this thing is masterful - the use of soft, stretchy material to separate different items in such a small space really does make a world of difference in a sling like this. I can toss my wallet, keys, AirPods, Osmo Pocket 3, iphone, sunglasses, and a little snack bar into this sling and it’ll still be comfy enough to wear around where ever doing whatever. I also routinely use it as a sling for phone and keys while I’m running and it does an amazing job of staying in place without bouncing around too much - lets me focus on the task at hand without getting in the way. While it may not be quite large enough for a full camera setup, if you’re looking for something to hold your essentials or to hold smaller stuff and attach to another bag, look no further.

Light, sturdy, stylish and super well designed

Got this as a gift and it's exactly what I wanted. It's so lightweight and comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. It's enough to pack a powerbank, phone, earphones, small bottle and a few other loose items. I suspect this will become my go-to back for urban exploration, when a backpack would be too much.
