This purse is another home run!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this purse for my wife, and it became her favorite almost overnight\! She shows it off to her friends every chance she gets, walking them through all the thoughtful features. She especially loves the magnetic closure and the built-in table hook—little details that make a big difference. Peak Design consistently delivers some of the best\-designed products around, and the quality is second to none. This purse is another home run\!
Perfect for going extremely light
I normally travel with camera gear and have been using PD bags for years, but currently traveling in India and needed to go as light as possible so this 12L City Crescent arrived just in time. Imaging gear on this trip is just an iPhone and Osmo Pocket 3, so I didn't need all the padding or Flexfold dividers. The rest of the items I'm carrying are actual essentials like a water bottle, insect repellant, sanitized wet wipes, light rain jacket, etc. I especially appreciate the built in Baglev hook because the ground can be pretty gnarly here. Great job, PD!
I love everything but some stitching
I have two 6l bags and a12l, and both sizes fit my needs perfectly for different activities. The amount of organization is ideal, and I love the magnetic pocket, which I have in another bag and appreciate. The only thing I don’t love is some stitching looks stretched even with nothing in the bag. It makes it look cheap. Ideally, the strap would be a quick-release, but I understand their wanting to keep it tidy, without flapping excess strap length.
Ok Bag
My family is a PD-fan. Like other PD products, the bag is well made - great fabric, size is perfect for travel and every day use. Great selection of colors. Love the bottle holder - thought it can only fit a small bottle like the mini Hydroflask. The Bageey Hook Ayatem is ok - I can do without since I do not hang my bags in public places. The air tag tolder is a treat though not necessary. Almost the perfect casual bag - except for I would have preferred a zippered section or more pockets for organization in the main compartment and a better strap. There is a zippered conpartment in the exterior of the bag but i I do not think it is sufficient. I am not a fan of where the key tether is located - i would have preferred that it is inside the main compartment or the zippered secrion instead of magnetized pockt. With price of the Creacent, there are better similar sized and shape bags in the market that offer more functionality.
BagLev™ bag hook could be better
The BagLev™ bag hook opening needs to be just 1/4" wider. The edge on many restaurant tables have a 2-inch wide board around the edge to hide the fact that the table is a thin thickness. The 2-inch opening on the BagLev™ bag hook just misses. I've had other bag hooks with the same problem, until I found one with a 2.25-inch opening.
What an wonderful bag. I boght and have used it ever since. Very pracyicaø with a lot of seperat pockets. My favourite id tge little one for a bottle. Recommend
Excellent bag!
I just got this in the mail and it really exceeded my expectations. It's my second peak design bag and I took a chance on this because the first one I bought was just so well-designed. I wanted something very slouchy, with a strap short enough to carry as a shoulder bag but adjustable to be long enough to carry crossbody. I didn't want it keeping its form since sometimes I don't have a lot to carry but other times I do (I have the 12L). This is an excellent bag, the material is great and I really don't think the pictures do it justice.
Lightweight bag, everything is accessible
I bought the 6L City Crescent and am loving it. My priorities were easy access to wallet for situations like the farmer's market, security and easy access to passport for travel, and internal organization for accessibility of lip balm, phone, reusable shopping bags, etc. The 6L City Crescent is perfect for that. It looks chic and can hug the body on a crowded subway, and everything is in its place inside. The colors are great, and it's lightweight and easy to wear, too. I highly recommend it!
All In The Bag
I bought this as a stand alone bag to keep my audio gear in, recorder, mic(s), cables and headphones. The 12L is the right size for this. I no longer have to cram them into the Overboard camera bag. It's a division of labour rather than a mixed salad.
I really love this bag. It has great pockets that allows me to keep things organized but not so many that I lose which pocket I’ve put something. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my whole lunch bag can fit if I wanted to!
