Great little lantern
Happy I purchased this about a month ago. The light is as specs dictate- no issues to report from near daily use so far. The one star off is for the battery loading process. We nearly sliced a finger trying to get the batteries in. Go slowly and match up the lid carefully. Watch out for the sharp plastic grooves. Use the instruction sheet and adults should probably do this task in a brightly lit area. Otherwise the lantern is what one would expect. This is going into our emergency and camping kit with batteries in (even if they drain, to avoid loading them in the dark).
Great Light for a camper or car camping
Bought this for our camper and it is everything advertised to be. Is bright but can dim it as needed, batteries last a LONG time and it's not too heavy or big. For a camper, car camping, etc. I think this light is perfect.
Super-bright, but heavyish from the D batteries
I got this for my mom since it's dark early in the winter and she likes to walk around her retirement place in the evening. She places it on her walker to light the way. It's super bright, so that's good, but keep in mind that it needs D batteries (not included) which make it a bit heavy and it also gets warm if you are running it for an extended period (like if the power goes out)
