Great Vintage Flair
I'm pretty happy with this lantern. It is very aesthetically pleasing which is the main reason i got this. The LEDs do a fantastic job on color and look of a real Edison style vintage bulb. The quality overall feels pretty good. I also like that this lantern is the power port is USB-C, opening up flexibility/consolidating in using your own usb-c cables. I usually plug this into a power bank to extend the battery life as max brightness drains internal pretty quickly. It's input voltage says 5v so don't expect any kind of fast charging. The battery looks like two rechargeable AA batteries taped together but may be also their own design so not sure if you can purchase a replacement battery. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I haven't been able to use it camping yet because of COVID-19 Lockdown but I am exciting to bring it with me when I do! If you're looking for something to light the whole site, this isn't going to do it, the lumens is only 200. Nothing really compares to those Coleman propane/white gas lanterns!
Light quality not as shown in online images
A solid battery powered lamp with a nice range of dimness to brightness. Only complaint is the glow of light emitted. I purchased this lamp online and had not tested it in person beforehand. I expected a much warmer “Edison bulb” type of light, which the online photos appeared to display. Obviously filtered images. The actual light is very much the artificial LED glow that I was hoping to avoid with this purchase. If LED white light is ok with you, I would say no issues.
Warm ambient light
Provides a warm cozy environment as if you are sitting by the fire. Definitely would recommend to those who do not like the traditional LED "whitish" light.
