My head measures 27" around and I ordered the L/XL after reading reviews. A M/L likely would have been tighter fitting, but I do like that the size I ordered gives me more space. Color, style, material and comfort are all 5 stars!
Brim of the hat lacks structure/floppy
Fits on the small side, it is cute though. Might re-order in a larger size. I purchased a S/M based on measurements.
Nice hat for good price
I like the size of this hat, the brim isn't overly huge. It's cute yet still functional. I have a small head and got the s/m, sometimes s/m sizes are too big but this one fits well. Slightly less snug than I'd like but I don't think it'll fly off at the beach.
Comfy breathable summer hat
Comfortable summer hat and great for the price. The brim is a little floppy but it straightens back out if bent, if you are looking for a solid hard brim this isn't the hat for you.
Even for big puffy hair!
My head with braided hair is AT LEAST 23 inches. Add to this higher humidity and bandannas. The largest size fit comfortably and while I feel I could go a size down, I am not going to, to leave room for a bandanna / Buff - a must when RH goes over 80%. It is as cool as any other straw hat. I love the brim size - not too big but shades the full face. It seems sturdy but I am not folding it because I've had hats of similar material and the fold marks never go away. I like its looks to go from hiking to a pub to a semi-formal picnic. If you are worried about wind, saw or weave through a lace (I will).
Check your head size
My head circumference is 1/2" larger than the smaller size, but it seems like the M/L that I purchased is slightly too big. I probably should have purchased the smaller size and attempted to stretch it out over time. It is a good hat, and the venting helped to keep me cool.

love this hat
i have had this hat for a few years and love it. i am very fair complexion and burn very easily. this has definitively saved me a few times from getting burnt. it is also super breathable,and is great to wear during the summer.
