Shade providing sun hat with chin strap.
The hat is as described. The brim is big enough to shade my face. The materials used in construction of the hat seem sturdy and of good quality. Compared to my last hat from REI, the chin cord that keeps it from flying off is a little short, but maybe the test will be in a windier situation.
Nice hat, strange color
This seems like a nice enough hat - it fit well, seems durable and well-made, but flexible for packability as advertised. However the color reads to me as VERY mustard yellow with brown flecks, not tan. Definitely when looked at side by side with other straw hats I have, this one appears YELLOW and not any shade of brown/tan. Ultimately the color was really weird to me and not flattering at all to my skin tone or wardrobe, so although the hat is nice enough, I would never wear it and it was returned.
Not like pictures show
It’s not what I expected, more of a floppy hat than the images show. I have one in a different color and it’s a stable brim.
Pricey, stylish and fits well
Hat is one size fit all. Glad it fit me. Good wide brim without blocking walking vision, so not floppy. Works well in Phoenix, AZ insane heat of 117 degrees. Looks stylish too. Haven't used it too much yet, so can't say how well chin strap works in wind bc not much here in hot city. A bit pricy, but its a style i like and will wear. As opposed to getting a hat less expensive but i don't like the look, lol. Good hat, hope it lasts.

Nice looking hat, too big
I really wanted to love this hat, but sadly, it was huge. I’m not sure how big they think women’s heads are, but it pulled all the way down to my ears. I returned it.
