Sizing Notes
Rock Shoes: Scarpa recommends you downsize 1/2 to 2 full sizes from street shoe size, though downsizing depends on shoe model, intended use and personal preference.
Mountaineering: Scarpa recommends you upsize 1/2 size or more depending on desired fit. Scarpa plastic mountaineering boots are based on the UK sizing scale.
Ski Boots: All Scarpa ski bootsare measured in Mondo sizing.Highlighted (or not) sizes share the same shell size; the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

great and comfortable shoe
This shoe is excellent quality. Great components and excellent construction. Very comfortable for casual wear. The only drawback is the sole does not have quite the support I wanted but they are very comfortable. I think they would be good for casual short hikes unless on rocky terrain as then the lack of stiffness in the sole would come into play. They look a little bit like bowling shoes but having the laces as long as they are makes them very easy to give you a snug fit. Overall a great shoe.
Great shoes
I have had this shoe before and I wore them for 5 to 7 years. I wore the bottoms down on them but they are very comfortable. Yes there are a lot of laces but if you think about it, you can make this shoe fit your foot from the bottom to the top with these 67" laces. I just bought these again a month back and now I remember why they were my daily shoe for so long.
Super-comfortable
There are a lot of laces here, so these aren't the quickest shoes to put on. They fit well though and I like the way they look.
Good from Day One
These shoes looked slim at first but when I slipped them on they were very comfortable. I was almost thrown by a review saying the arches were aggressive. I have not noticed this at all on my size 42 shoes in spite of having very flat feet. I like the bowling shoe vibe and the toe cap looks like it will prevent toenail holes like the ones which happened on my otherwise very nice Columbia mesh-tops. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Arches a bit high for me
Beautiful shoes that seem to be very high quality, but the arches were a bit too aggressive for my feet. I had to return them.
Tore up
The shoes tore up my feet. Very uncomfortable but great looking. Not appropriate for trekking which is what they are designed for?
Happy feet
Love these shoes that I first bought in Chamonix and was thrilled to buy another pair.
