Rated 5 out of 5 by from Numero Uno Shoe After wearing out several pairs of these Mocs, I'm back for another pair. These are simply the best year-around, causal shoe/slipper for northern climes. They are especially well-suited for the wetness of the Pacific Northwest. The style, comfort, and durability allow me to wear them everywhere: to/from mountainbiking and road riding, short day-hikes, camping, dog walks, errands, home projects, work (ugghhh), and lounging around the house. They are limited on breathability, so when sporting on the east-side of the Cascades (where the days are sunny and warm), they can get a little hot and sticky if not worn with a pair of socks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect travel shoes In a world plagued by long airport security lines, noone likes that guy taking twenty minutes to tie his shoes. Don't be that guy. I do a lot of business travel, and these are dead on perfect for it; substantial enough for walking through manufactuing facilities, neat enough to wear with a pair of khakis, and of course quick to kick off at that security checkpoint. They can also be respectably waterproof with a simple nubuck sealing kit. Only problem I have is when my feet slip around inside the mocs on extreme footing - walking in San Francisco is rather exciting. Maybe not the best trail shoes, but I do not expect them to be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On third Pair These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned--in fact, I'm on my third pair. Since I wear them everyday I do notice that the soles don't last as long as the used to--not sure what's changed in the manufacturing. Also notice the inner lining gets trashed with use, but no more than my other shoes. The rest of the shoe is great--easy to slip off in airport security lines, can walk around a city all day without buring, aching feet. In fact, I've never felt more comfortable on travel than with these shoes. They used to make a ventilator moc which was the most breathable thing I've ever worn, but the Jungle aren't bad. My feet stay dry in Seattle in light misty rain, but not so great in a down pour or winter puddles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome casual shoes with one warning I'm on my 3rd pair and about to go out an buy 2 more pairs at REI. I just don't want to deal with choosing another shoe if they get discontinued because they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The one CAVEAT - WATERPROOF these as soon as you get them home if you don't want indelible stains. The suede like uppers will stain easily if you don't waterproof them. I dropped some soft-serve on mine by accident in a casino buffet line and they are now permanently stained - nothing can get the stain out so I'm buying the two new pairs. Also, I wear mine with a set of Dr Scholls pads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy them all!! bought these to take to oktoberfest/europe in fall 2012, so i would only take one pair of shoes for casual and nice restaurants. WAY happy, as they are wide enough for my feet, and the cobblestones through europe didnt hurt my feet. dressy enough for khakis and a jacket, and casual enough for shorts, but most important, simply the most comfortable shoe for the task that i tried. i tried merrell, keen, salomon, clarks...about 6 different vendors and styles, these were the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favorite shoes (except for one thing) These would be the perfect shoe except for one thing - the soles wear out way too quickly. The little nubs in the center of the sole do not last very long. A few months of everyday walking and you're down to smooth rubber. I've replaced them with the Merrell World Olmec mocs which have sturdy Vibram soles. They're a little more expensive, but I expect they'll last a lot longer than my Jungles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comforable shoes My husband and I have worn these for years. They are great for three seasons, but hold up well in rain. we use them for travel, as they are easy to get on and off at the airport. Great support for touring, look good with jeans or dress pants. I bought this pair for my 87 year old father who had hip replacement surgery. He can put them on and off without bending too much, and they support his foot and have a good traction sole. These shoes are the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slipons that rock I bought these for a Romeo-style shoe that wasn't what I'd deal with for the traditional "slipper" style shoe. I tried them on at first, and while they were originally pretty stiff, I went with them anyway. I don't think a day has gone by in two years that I've not worn these shoes. When I've abstained from them, it's been because I needed to wash them (which you can do, regardless of the warnings. Just shove them in the washer and air dry without the linings). Around the 1.5 year mark I replaced the insoles with more comfortable liners, but the shoes themselves haven't stopped working. The only thing I caution against is they can be a bit slippery on wet stone surfaces, but since they're not designed to be a bouldering shoe, I don't count this as a negative.

Love this shoe but I'd like a similar shoe that is cooler for summer wear.  The Jungle Moc fits my feet well and I don't have sore feet (plantar fasciitis) after a full day's use.  Only problem is that they are too warm in summer.

The Merrell Rove Shoes (REI item #855646) would be a good choice as they have breathable mesh linings to help keep your feet cool. http://www.rei.com/product/855646/merrell-traveler-rove-shoes-mens#reviewsTab
