Don't expect the tan to be tan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Agree with previous comments. The tan is not tan. Very olive green. They are very comfortable and very light though.

Product received doesn't match that depicted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So what I received is not what's shown here - I received low profile slipper with no laces, not the cool boot/bootie profile depicted here, but the name on the tag/box match the product here. I like the low profile slippers, so I'll keep them but I would really love to be able to order the product shown here. So buyer beware...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these for my son, who's special needs & absolutely LOVES North Face. I was hesitant, as ordering online can be tricky. I ordered these for him as they were slip-on. When he opened the box he was so excited! Not only are these slip-on, they are light weight & my son says they are very comfortable. He wears these just about everyday. Normally he wears a 10.5/11. I ordered him a 12 and I'm so glad I did. I wish North Face made more slip-on, light weight, excellent support shoes. I also wish North Face would open an actual store in my area.

fit at ankle height odd, arch support didn't match

size guide recommended 9.5, based on my measurement 10.8". I typically wear a 10. I had North Face running shoes a while ago I needed a 1/2 size up, so I bought a 10. length fit good with thick wool socks. but the fit around my ankles was just odd. height wise it hit just at top of outside ankle bone not on actualleg part justaboveankles. . my ankles are fairly narrow , and I had to tie laces closed together, but I couldn't get any closer. toe box is very wide, no squished toes, so that was nice. but the deal breaker for me was the location of the arch support was under my heels. I tried numerous times untying and retying shoe laces pushing my heels back in heel cups. never could get arch to fit mine, it just kept being under my heel. I don't think after 9.5 would have made any difference of arch location. I returned bc of arch not fitting mine. minus 1 star for odd ankle height.

Excellent walking & driveway shoveling boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very warm & light. Traction was surprisingly pretty good given that the sole doesn't appear to be aggressive. I was able to walk on some iced over sidewalk w/o a problem. I bought these to walk my dog in winter in Chicagoland area and maybe to shovel snow in the driveway. I'm not disappointed. I normally wear a 12 Wide but a 12-1/2 Regular fits me just fine in these.

True to size and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Read reviews about them being a little too small and I ordered half a size larger because of this. Wish I hadn't (even though I'll make them work) because like the gray suede ones I also ordered, they fit great despite feeling too narrow initially. Really warm and comfortable, but I can't imagine doing any hiking in these to be honest...

Buy them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unsure about them but took a chance and glad I did. Wore them in Aspen on snowy days. Held up like a champ. They're warm and super light weight. Perfect after a day on the mountain. Tighten them up and wear them through snow. Stepped into puddles to test them. Half size up for some extra toe room for sure. Highly recommend!

I would buy these boots again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great winter boots! Extemely comfortable and light, but also very warm. I purchased them for a trip to Iceland this January where temperatures felt like 5 degrees F. The fit is true to size. I vary between a size 10 and 11 depending on the shoe and brand. I ordered a size 10 1/2 which is my optimal size and they are perfect!

Gonna buy another pair they are so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gonna buy a second pair. Love these Chukkas. So warm around the house and with the rubber sole, you can venture out, even to the grocery store. I put an insole inside them due to arch support issues I have, and they are like cloud 9. Can't quit wearing them!

Love these boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these Boots. Super comfortable - however not the very best thing on icy surfaces - the sole is pretty hard. These slip on easy and the laces pull it snug tight.. I bought two extra pair so that I could continue to wear these for years.
