BSE - best shoes ever
This is (these are??) my second pair of OluKai Lae'ahi shoes. I now have the parchment (grey) and deep blue. I was thinking of wearing the dark blue with a black suit to my nephew's wedding but decided not [potentially] to annoy my sister-in-law. I wore the grey ones for my month in Africa (Democratic Republic of Congo) and I wore them every minute of my 39 hour trip back to Arizona. I'll bring one or both when I return for 2 months starting in August - comfortable does not even begin to describe them and they are easy to clean, so the sides stay white even in rough streets.

Terrible
Was excited about the story of the brand, and the look and "comfort" description of these shoes provided online. Received these after some anticipation yesterday, and by far, these are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Complete lack of a soft insert for your feet (contrary to what is described) and feels like you are stepping into a loose pair of oversized, flat shoes, and walking directly on a cement floor. The shoes look good from the outside, but the comfort/feel is the worst.

Lae’Ahi Slip-ons

Must have! Looks fantastic. Super comfy. Dressy casual sneaker. I don’t wear socks with them but the footbed is easily removable and washable. Wear them to restaurants, church, grocery store, theatre, wherever.

Olukai shoes

Very comfortable and stylish. I usually take an 8.5 4 e wide. I bought a size 9 shoe is a little narrow for me but after I broke them in they fit like a glove. Stretchy material and very comfortable.

My husband’s favorite shoes

I have been buying these shoes for my husband for the last 10 years. Great for everyday wear, even water, and look nice enough for a dinner out. Very comfortable.

The shoe is greener

Everything I expected in the shoe being Olukai - but it's a little more green than depicted in the photos online. Decided to keep it anyway!

Comfortable for a Wide Foot

Very comfortable but I would agree that they are more for casual wear vs extended walking. I was concerned about what size to order. Most of the reviews state that they run large and to order a half to full size down. I have a wide foot and generally have trouble with shoe sizes. I would say that I am a 10 1/2 wide. My Merrell Moabs are a 10 1/2 wide. With Hoka running shoes, i have worn 11 wide and 11 1/2 wide. Sperry boat shoe: 11 wide. I ordered the Lae'ahi's in an 11 and they fit just fine. Hope this helps those with wide feet.
