I anticipate this being the great product the last one was!

We had the prior version of this shelter. When staked out properly it held up well until we had 60mph winds in the Sierras in winter. This was in close out so grabbed it fast. It looks to be even better than the last version. Have used it once in a non camping situation. Better stakes, better roof line. I like the roof vents for hot days particularly since it's a darker color. I also like the improved guy lines. Will probably get some NikWax for the roof seams since that was a weak point where gear loops on prior version leaked. Looks to have similar construction on this model.

Great alternative to other shelters

I love my safe canyon plus shelter. Fits over the camp table plus some room for movement, is tall enough to walk under, and it’s sturdy in the heavy Colorado gusts of wind. Only taking off one star bc the side panels don’t do much on the front/back, and you will want to purchase real stakes. Other than that this is a solid product that is an awesome alternative to more traditional shelters.

Solid and roomy

We used this on a 2-month road trip and loved it. Solid, plenty big (Sage Canyon Plus) and lots of privacy with two side panels. Nice and small when packed. It's not super easy to set up, but not hard when you get used to it. We had better luck staking it out after attaching the side panels.

Desert day necessity!

Used this shelter for the first time on a river trip last weekend and it held up incredibly well in the wind! We did upgrade the stakes to the MSR Cyclones, but we didn't worry about it taking off on us once. Definitely saved us in 90 degree heat and was easy to pop-up and take down!

After so many failed tarps I found the answer

So many tarps, so many hours wasted trying to get them up, keep them up only for not enough good anchors around camp. This has solved all of the issues and will be on every river trip from now on.
