After using a 20% off coupon and CC points I bought this guy due to it being bigger than the major shady. Which I had an an eye on for a while till I learned of the square footage. This awning came out and It seemed like a big improvement over the major shady. It worked great until I went to take the awning down and the wind caught it and turned it straight up in the air. It looked like the back of my truck was sailfish. My wife and I were able to grab it and pull back towards the ground. The only thing damaged were the mounts (L-brackets) on the Yakima overhaul. Not sure if the brackets are a warranty items or not. Besides that I love it. Fabric seems durable and very water proof. I would advise to always use the stakes in the event of a big wind gusts
