NOT DISHWASHER SAFE - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Extremely disappointed in the product and the company. I have had a Stanley insulated flask that's been with my on lots of adventures and held up brilliantly, and so I was confident I wouldn't be let down when I bought two Stanley Legendary Camp Mugs for everyday use. After only several months of use the coating has started to come off both of my mugs through a mixture of dishwasher and hand washing - see photos of Wine coloured mug. I emailed Stanley to alert them and they promised this was covered under their lifetime guarantee and passed my details onto the claims team. That was three months ago. Despite several emails from me requesting an update I have still not had a reply. Terrible customer service and experience. Unfortunately after checking reviews on other websites it looks like I am not alone. I am sorry to say I would not recommend purchasing anything from Stanley otherwise you will be disappointed.

Honest List of Pros and Cons

Things to consider before buying *The lid does not have a slide in place to close. The beverage can splash out through the section where you drink from. This happened to me when walking and while driving and hitting any speed bumps. The cup did fit in my vehicle’s cup holder however I am not sure if it will fit in all vehicle cup holders This cup is very cute and lightweight The handle is thin and the material makes for a comfortable grip. It did keep my coffee warmer compared to my glass mug I usually use I would say the 1.5 HRS claim that was on the label is correct

Perfect cup

This is my favorite cup period, hands down! I love everything about it, the size, the ability to keep my beverage warm on cold mornings, everything, except the lid. The lid needs a vent hole to work properly.

Paint started falling off in 30 days

I'm a 3rd generation Stanley fan and was really excited when ordered this from the website. However, within a month the paint bubbled and then started literally falling off. I contacted customer support and was told "Stanley warranty covers functionality and capacity of the cup, however, cosmetic damages due to wear and tear are not included." I've only used this in my house, and I even hand wash. This was very disappointing. It's a sad commentary on the current total lack of quality assurance, which is what has made the company so great for so long..

Best Mug Ever

My sister just had her third kid and I was sooo tired of hearing her complain about never having a hot cup of coffee. Rather than spend an arm and a leg on the Ember which she definitely would’ve hated, I set out to find something that would do the job without anything fancy. We have the adventure quenchers and LOVE them so I know anything Stanley brand will be top tier. This mug has been a life saver for her! Her coffee stays hot through all the chaos of kids and she can take a sip 30 minutes later and it’s still nice and super warm. I just wish it were a tiny bit bigger. I will buy everyone on my Christmas list this year this mug!

Vent issues on lid

I saw the northern lights and immediately wanted it. When I recieved it it wasnt as vibrant as the picture. Was going to return but kept it anyways. I use this for my morning coffee and it keep my coffee warmer longer then my typical mugs. The only complaint I had was that the lid did not have a hole to allow the coffee to come out easily. The only vent it had was on the rubber gasket around the lid. And it can be "sealed" by moving your cup around. So when you drink the seal will "pop" and hot coffee (which happened to me) or whatever liquid it may be will spill everywhere. I would of loved a vent hole on the top of the lid. Other then that I do love that it does keep my coffee hot.

Paint bubbles up otherwise excellent

I have two of these mugs. One is the classic textured green and the other is matte black. The matte black one is still kicking strong. The green one is suffering. The paint at the top of the handle is bubbling up. Eventually I feel like it will tear and then the whole mug will peel? Just be aware — I feel like the texturing is the issue.
