Great except for the finish
Purchased this for my commute. Needed a completely leakproof coffee mug for my backpack and this performs perfectly. Keeps my coffee hot in the morning. Once at work I use it for cold water. Only complaint is the finish. I bought the light pink which has a slight texture to it that gives it some grip but the finish comes off easily. I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks and the finish is coming off in places. I put it in the cup holder of my car and now there’s a ring around the bottle with no finish. I guess it’ll eventually just be a silver bottle. I’d probably give this 5 stars if not for the finish.
Not very happy
I have used this cup for less than a month since I got it.The thread of its cover has been seriously damaged under normal use.And the most sad thing for me is that this coffee cup is not easy to clean after it is filled with coffee. Simply washing can't solve the stain. As a result, a little mold has grown in my cup now.
Favorite color and most usable!
Amazing easy yo use lid is wonderful for coffee and drinks! Size is perfect for cup holders in our cars too!
All good
TI'm fine, it's just that I got this one in black, a little scraped
16 oz
I liked the size, design and color too, since I collect green ones.
Solid yet awkward
after years of a vessel fetish that has tested an extraordinary range of insulated mugs, this is my insight: the Yeti rambler is high on build quality, awkward in terms of use. The commuter lid requires attention to turn and rotate and is leakproof only if CLOSED. Other products, from other companies have similar quality and retention but the use of a one handed trigger assure ease of operation and no need to remember to seal and close. the best in my experience is from a long standing company that ceased production due to inexplicable concerns about cleanliness. The insulated vessel should be the subject of a pHD dissertation on basic industrial desigf
The New Travel Bottle
This is Yeti’s best option yet for taking a double coffee on the road or to work. Love the new lid! But, for 2 8-oz cups of coffee (standard pour for Keurig brewers), there’s no room left in the 16 oz bottle for creamer/syrup. Perhaps an 18 oz bottle would be more marketable for coffee drinkers. And, even though this was not available in the light blue, please don’t let light blue just be a seasonal color. There’s enough Carolina fans nationally to ensure this color remains a popular choice.
Excellent, as always!
I have 22 yeti cups and a large ice chest. Yes, I love Yetis! They do such an incredible job of insulating drinks. The ice water by my bed at night still had ice in the morning. And my coffee stays hot for hours. This latest cup purchase, 16 oz travel bottle, is wonderful for all the usual reasons and made even better because it's spillproof. It's nice when driving because I don't have to look to see where the hole for drinking from is. All i have to do is slightly unscrew the lid which i can do without looking away from the road. Then retighten it afterwards and it's spillproof and keeping my drink hot or cold. Finally, it's all dishwasher safe so that's an added bonus!
Leakproof but Spills
I use this for the occasional days that I make myself a drink for the work day, which is usually an espresso drink. It is indeed leakproof, BUT, a little bit of liquid gets stuck in the lid after you drink from it which stays there even when you close the lid. So, it spills coffee, which isn't technically a leak since it didn't escape the bottle while closed, but it's still annoying. Also, the part of the cap that you drink from is completely uncovered and 360°, so drinking sweetened coffee drinks leaves it sticky and gross to touch from all angles. I hope this cap design gets reworked in the future
Love the lid!
My favorite Yeti bottle! The top is a game changer and the bottle fits in my cup holder! Keeps my coffee hot on cold days. I’ll be testing it out this summer with my iced coffees.
