Worth Every Penny
I purchased the 12oz Rambler because I'm in my car for long periods of time and my hot drink will usually get cold quickly. Previously I purchased the 36oz Bottle Chug Rambler to keep large amounts of coffee hot for long company meetings and loved it. So I decided to try the 12oz for personal use. It's easy to clean, fits in every cup holder I have and keeps my coffee hot for hours and my cold drinks cold all day. In fact, I come home at the end of the day and dump the cup and there's still a large amount of ice in it. I absolutely LOVE this Rambler. My next purchase is going to be a cooler. Worth every penny!
Poorly designed lid, ridge hits my nose every sip
Insulation is par with other insulated mugs. Leak proof. Good start here. Major problem is the open shut ridge on the lid hits your face/nose when you try to drink. Very poor design. I find myself using my wife’s mug from another brand/style and on inspection I see their open close function does not create this problem. I would not recommend this mug. I strongly suggest Yeti fix this problem.
Cap leaks
I thought these would be a great replacement to my aging travel coffee mug. Unfortunately, when I tip the rambler to my mouth, my coffee spills out the side (where the lid is screwed into the mug), faster than out the top. I prefer my coffee in my mouth and not on my clothes and my floor.
Useless & Leaks
My first yeti cup and it was nothing like the advertisement or description. This cup leaks when tilted in your hand even slightly. It soaked my backpack just putting it on. Do not buy.
Top
I bought this for 12oz bottles but the kid won't fit with any 12oz bottle i use. Would be perfect if it had kid like the can cooler that i currently use for my 12oz bottles.
Perfection.
Another great Yeti product. This is the second 12 oz bottle with HotShot cap that I have purchased (one in blue and one in stainless), I use one for coffee and the other for water daily. I like how it is just a simple twist to open and close the lid and I don't have to completely remove it to get a drink. For anyone with a single serve type coffee maker that is considering the 12 oz bottle for coffee. I've found that it fits with room to spare on mine, finally no brewing in a separate cup and pouring into the Yeti!
Rambler 12oz with Hotshot lid
I have to be honest and say that I am a Yeti freak. I have a lot of Yeti products and this actually might be my favorite. I don't know what magical fairy dust they used to create this Rambler 12oz, but it is a true delight to use. The lid really does make a legit seal so I don't worry about throwing it in a bag or whatever with coffee in it. The hotshot lid is amazing and super easy to clean. Overall, great durable product that is very user friendly.
Heck yeah!
First off I am truly serious about my coffee. I want it hot and for longer than 10 minutes. The cup size fits perfectly in my Kuerig and is just enough for a medium size although I think it would accommodate a large as well. It is truly leakproof and I love that I can drink from anywhere with the hotshot cap. Some may find the cup to be heavy but it doesn’t bother me at all. I use my 20oz. Rambler for cold drinks & this is the perfect addition for my coffee. I think I’ll invest in the mug for use at home. But this one is absolutely perfect for serious coffee drinkers. Very highly recommended!
Never disappointed
I absolutely love my new Rambler!! I'm new to the "HotShot Cap" so that will take a little getting used to. It definitely is spill proof, ( my 12yr old son had to make sure ) Only wish that there were more options for lids for this specific cup. Other than that, not disappointed!
First Yeti Product I Don't Love!
I've had this mug for about 6 months and it's the first Yeti product that I bought and don't love and I have a lot of them! I actually really don't like it at all for a few reasons: 1 - I put coffee in it and EVERYTHING tastes like coffee now. This doesn't happen with Yeti cups. 2 - You have to put your hands all over the lid to get it open successfully. I wanted to use this mug traveling and don't really want to grab the lid with dirty hands just to get it opened 3 - The lid is very awkward to drink out of - your nose hits the middle I think all issues are with the hotshot lid unfortunately. It doesn't leak at all, which is good.
