Excellent bottle for the gym or car

The bottle, like all of the Hydro Flask bottles that I’ve used for several years, insulates extremely well. The cap does not insulate, but I use this bottle in the gym and while driving. The liquid inside rarely touches the non-insulated cap, so this isn’t an issue for me. In addition, I always add ice cubes which more than offset any heat transfer through the cap. The flip lid works very well in the gym. I just leave the lid locked in the open position. The small sip opening hasn’t allowed any liquid to splash out. I recently also purchased a pair of lightweight bottles with a lightweight (but still very heavy) version of the flip cap. Oddly the lids on those take a lot more force to flip open — too much force for me to open with one hand while I’m hiking or running.
