The BEST sunstick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best sun stick that I have tried all year. I stick it in my purse before I leave so I can reapply every two hours. Sunscreen is the most important thing you can do for your skin every day all day long I can throw it on the kids when we’re out playing at the park and they don’t even get bothered by it because it’s not sticky. It doesn’t have a fragrance. It goes on absorbs and starts fighting those UVA and UVB rays. I’ll highly recommend getting this. I love that it’s made a RAW elements even posted on my Instagram I was still in love with this sunscreen.
Sunburn free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Raw Elements Mineral Sunscreen Face Stick is a game changer. I always use sunscreen when I do the yard work. Sometimes I sweat if off though and get a sunburn anyway. The stick made it super easy and fast to apply. There was no funky sunscreen smell and I was sweating in the yard for at least four hours and I didn't get a sunburn. The stick also makes it easy to pack in your bag. You don't have to worry about it spilling. This stuff works. I need to find it in the stores. This will now be my go to yard work sunscreen.
Not a fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spf stick is a good size, and looked promising. However, when applied to the face and neck it does not glide smoothly, and it leaves a white/pink residue that you need to massage into your skin. I like the concept of the spf stick so you don’t get your hands sticky and minimize the dirt that accidentally gets on your face when applying regular spf lotion. But this product did not do that unfortunately.
Works well, mineral formula
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this on my kids’ faces mostly, and it does work well, for a mineral sunscreen, without leaving behind a heavy white residue. It does leave some, but it disappears after a bit. It works well in protecting from the sun, and I did not have to reapply even after a few hours of dry play in the yard. I have not tested it in water, though. I love that it has virtually no smell, and does not leave behind a sticky residue. It’s pretty dry and doesn’t make sand stick to their skin. But because of that, though, it is difficult to apply without a good amount of pressure, which can be uncomfortable and difficult on a child’s face. It was cracked and crumbling upon opening it in the package, but does smooth over after a bit of use and sitting in the sun. Overall, it works great for a mineral sunscreen, and the stick application is a useful feature, but I wish it was a bit softer and easier to glide on. I would purchase it again, despite that.
Great travel sunscreen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect sunscreen to bring on-the-go as it offers excellent UV protection, yet is compact enough to easily fit in your bag, or stick in your pocket without worrying about spills, definitely a must-have for reapplication throughout the day.
Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that it's a SPF 50 All-Natural Mineral Sunscreen, it's Water Resistant, Cruelty Free, Moisturizing, Broad-Spectrum UVA/UVB Protection, goes on easy and has no greasy feeling nor smell, needed essential for summer
Super convenient sunscreen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Raw Elements SPF 50 face stick! It feels cleaner and faster to swipe this stick across your face than to deal with messy, dripping sunscreen lotion. I also like that I can put make-up on right away and don't have to wait for anything to dry. No strong scent either! (It doesn't really smell like anything at all) It's also more portable and safe to carry in your purse or bag. The form-factor is like a deodorant stick but much smaller. One thing I really appreciate is that this formula contains "Non-Nano-Zinc" which means that the particles of the zinc oxide are not so tiny that they are absorbed into your bloodstream through the skin. It's also better for the environment because it's reef-safe and not full of chemical sunscreens. It says on the label that it's also certified as "cruelty free," biodegradable and non-GMO ingredients. The sunscreen goes on kind of "white" which is normal for Zinc based stuff - but it does blend in with my skin and I don't notice a white cast after a few minutes but my skin is pale so I'm not sure how it would be on someone with a darker skin-tone? One thing to note: while this is a moisturizing formula and it doesn't feel uncomfortable, heavy or tight on the skin to wear it, application doesn't feel very nice. It feels like you're dragging a dry, wax crayon across your face and it's harder to get into smaller areas (around your nose, the top of your ears). You'll need to apply it and then rub it into certain spots. It's definitely worth it though, because this is a sunscreen I am happy to use every day and will be a go-to! Cons: product feels uncomfortable to apply Pros: small form factor, nice container, no scent, easy to apply, no drying time, hydrating, long lasting
Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first use, the face stick is rough on the face. I suggest running your fingers on the face stick first before trying to apply the product in your face. After that, it's very easy to apply on to the face. Downside is it will be white on your face until you blend it in. Once you blend it into the skin it's no longer an issue. I didn't notice any white cast. I. Addition, I can't even feel the product on my face when I blend it in.
Sunny Days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sunny days are a ok, with sunscreen! I tried the Raw Elements SPF Face Stick and I was definitely feeling protected! The stick form helped with easy application to the face, the only issue is I had to work in the product to show less white/chalk look as a person of color. The formula felt safe on my sensitive skin and reapplying wasn’t hard. I was completely covered from the sun rays with face stick!
great sunscreen and easy to carry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sunscreen stick is wonderful! I like that it just rolls/rubs on without a mess and you can use it all over or just on spots where you may need to reapply. I have sensitive skin and am picky about what I use on my face. This doesn't irritate my skin at all and is easy to reapply even if you are sweaty. Finally, you can carry it easily and it doesn't break down or get greasy in the heat.
