Keeps the Burn Away!

This sunscreen is great if you are buying it to protect your skin and not concerned with looking like a glistening supermodel post-application, ha! Having said that, it does leave a white cast, like everyone says. However, as someone who burns easily and is quite pale, this sunscreen has protected me better than anything I have tried before. Normally I will experience a few burns in the beginning of the summer, but as long as this is applied correctly and regularly, I’ve been able to build a tan without burning! Grateful for the lotion-like texture in a spray form as it makes application very quick, you just need to take about 5 minutes to really rub it in after. No big deal, I love it!

I had high expectations

I bought this thinking it would be everything I wished for because I never used a mineral sunscreen before. I was hoping for: no white cast, no greasy/oily feel, no leaking on sweat, mild/great fragrance. To my surprise: -It left a white cast! It went away after a lot of rubbing and I did not mind too much, but it's not what I wanted ideally. -As soon as I started sweating from the sun, I was covered in white sweat drips -I DID NOT REALLY LIKE THIS... I just pat dried myself... Like every 5 mins, lol! -Oiliness: not bad! I liked the texture. My first pro. -Fragrance: I liked it! I probably will not buy it again...

Worst sunscreen ever.

I lathered my body with this sunscreen even more then it recommended. I have never been so burnt in my life. I’m in so much pain that I’m almost in tears. The sunscreen literally just didn’t work. I applied 45 minutes before I got in the water and put it on after each 45 min in the water. DO NOT BUY THIS. I was extremely disappointed because I’ve heard people rave about this brand and it’s the worst sunscreen I’ve ever used. I would have rather used one of the sunscreen brands that give me chemical burns. My entire body is on fire because of this stuff.

Not for tan complexions

This stuff goes on like spray paint. If you have any pigment to your skin do not even think about buying this.

The spray version doesn’t cover

The spray version doesn’t cover the way a non-mineral sunscreen does. It basically just sprays out a lot of cream you have to still rub in, which gets on everything because of how it sprays out and has stained a pair of black lululemon shorts. From what I can tell it’s not non-nano zinc oxide either. So 3 stars is because it works well but the delivery system sucks. I would probably buy their Baby Bum mineral sunscreen tube since it wasn’t as messy and it’s non-nano, even though it’s a smaller container

white and doesn’t come off the skin

I bought this because I ran out of sunscreen and it was the only one in store at the time. I showered and scrubbed my skin and it will not come off. It’s been two days and I can still feel the residue of the sunscreen. It also leaves a crazy white cast wherever you spray it which is even more noticeable on poc. The only reason I gave it an extra star is because it did protect my skin very well and I didnt burn after hours of swimming and kayaking under the sun. I love sunbum but not this product.

Let me start off by

Let me start off by saying I love all of my Sun Bum products, and love the brand very much. I was excited to order this mineral wear sunscreen at the beach but i was disappointed when it didn’t spray right. I get it mistakes happen but it was sort of a pain putting on. Putting aside the spraying issue when i finally did get it applied it lasted very long, i don’t know if the white pigment it gave me was because of the bottle not spraying right or if it was the way i applied it.

Not what I expected

When I read mineralized sunblock I imagined a very light coverage packed with a refreshing mist however upon spraying it it looked as if I was spraying myself with white spray paint. No matter how many rubs, the white thick screen still showed throw on all skin types. I wouldn't purchase this product again. Great for all day sun exposure such as fishing however for a relaxing day at the beach, I don't want to look like an amateur Canadian.

Good for Facial Acne

I have cystic acne and I was spending $$$$ on face sunscreen trying to find one that would not break me out. I started using this after a horrible break out and it was so great for moisturizing without encouraging my skin to overproduce oil. I only use 3 facial products so I know it was this sunscreen that helped heal my skin after the breakout. So looks like you got a life long customer. Please don't change the formula <3

Leaves a thick white cast

I had high hopes for this product after using the BabyBum lotion version on my face and neck in the winter. This however left a pretty thick white cast on my skin, had a hard time washing it off with a loofah, and left residue on my clothes. After applying before a run, the sweat wiped it away and pilled between my legs and back of my knee. Disappointed but gave to a friend who would appreciate and use this more than I.
