Ah so close but sizing seems to be too narrow.

I really like these shoes but, sizing seems to be off. Second pair I ordered first pair went back because they were too small in length and too narrow. Exchange for the next size up and they came in what felt like the right length but again too narrow. Changed up my socks to a light weight pair and still too narrow. My foot size is normally a ten regular width, very disappointing because the shoes seem to be made really well and have an extra dose of pretty cool included in the styling. Will see if they come in a wide. If not, going back a second time.

Oboz Burke Chukka Boots

Sarah assisted me selecting my shoes. I told her I wanted shoes and she recommended the Oboz Burke Chukka Boots. She measured my feet to ensure the correct size which was beneficial because I had been wearing the wrong size shoe for a long time. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. Sarah taught me more about shoes and feet in just a few minutes than I have learned in many many years. Sarah is the best sales associate who has ever assisted me in my life. She is the Model Benchmark all REI associates follow. BRAVO ZULU!!!

Good style and quality

Pretty good boots. I like the style as they're fine for office wear, they're comfortable, they kind of lock in the heel, pretty light weight. Quality seems good, better than forsakes I've had. I wear around a 9.5-10, occasionally 10.5, EU fit is usually 43, sometimes 43.5 and 44. I ordered a US 10 and they fit well. They have a few shortcomings though. They're a lot more chonky and bigger than what the pictures make it look like; they're not very packable. They're also quite stiff even around the canvas portion. The shoe strings it came with were WAY too long and flap around so you have to replace them with shorter ones. I would get these on sale and not full price. They're still pretty hot even without weatherproofing linings (all shoes are pretty much). There might be an insulating layer which I definitely don't want?

Too tight

The Oboz chukka is a tight fit. Reviews seem to show others making the same claim. Made for narrow feet.

Hard to tell...they are too tight

I purchased these with high expectations. I usually wear a size 11 in most shoes. I got a EU 44.5 (US 11) and the shoes are way too tight. I think if I even went to a US 11.5 it would be too tight. It is not just tight in the length, but all over. They look like a great shoe if they would fit.

Top 5 most comfortable shoe I’ve owned.

What else needs to be said? Coming home after a long days work and not even remembering to take my shoes off. No other shoes do that for me. I’m grateful to the brand for existing.
