Danner  Logger 917 Boots - Men's

Excellent boot and extremely comfortable with great support. I walk a mile to and from work each day and these boots have been as comfortable to walk in as my hiking shoes and sneakers. They have been warm and waterproof for a Michigan winter and I really appreciate the excellent tread on the Vibram sole. I also were these all day at work where I stand most of the day and again they are very comfortable and don't feel clunky while also looking sharp. The leather is top notch, thick but soft (not stiff) enough to move with you, adding to the comfort. I looking forward to seeing how long these last, but at this point I would certainly buy these again and I plan to get some other Danner shoes for the warmer months.

Excellent boots, build is perfect, comfort is excellent. I have size 12. 5 narrow feet, initially bought 13’s but they were way too big, sent back and got 12’’s. They were just right with a bit of room so I’d say they run a little big. I love these. The one issue is the stock insole is a bit firm and I might go for a set of Sof Sole Sport insoles which are my go-to for such issues. I’ve had a lot of Danner’s over the years and keep coming back. This is my first pair of 917’s though and love them so much already I think I’ll be getting a set of the Logger Moc 917 GTX’s soon. Keep making these forever Danner :) !

Most comfortable pair of boots I currently own. I love the broken in feel and how they conform to the shape of the foot. The brown really does have its own personality and provides a classy alternative color to others in my collection. If they also hold up well I’ll keep this at 5 stars down the road.

This was my first purchase of Danner Love the boot but the sizing was misrepresented I read your sizing statement that said true to size. I have worn the same size boot for 30 years so I went with your size statement They are about 1/2 size to small I gave them a week thinking they are new and need to stretch but not the case I like them so much but now I have to buy a new pair because these do not fit properly I am not the type of customer that would return a product that I wore, but it would be nice to get some type of discount on the new pair that I have to order

This is my fourth pair of Danner Logger’s, I wear them every day for my sales job. I’m on my feet all day, and the Vibram soles really cushion my feet.

These boots are super light and comfortable. Perfect for my line of work.

I am thoroughly impressed with these shoes. I had a unique expectation that they would be quality considering the US Marine Corp outfits it’s Marines with Danners - I mean, they must be quality, right? Well I was proven correct the second I put these 917’s on. After a week of wearing them they’re beginning to break-in and become more comfortable. They’re not too heavy. They don’t clunk around like normal boots; in fact, I could sneak up on a squirrel in these, they’re so quiet. I’ll be buying these for my dad for Christmas.

Another solid experience with Danner. Typically wear 10, saw reviews that these run 1/2 size small so got the 10 1/2 which was 1/2 size big. Return process via email was smooth, full message from an actual person with correct grammar. Appreciate the attention to detail in product and service. There is no exchange process so it's a two step process with a return and new order at the price of the original transaction so a sale discount would be preserved. Size 10 received and will be in heavy rotation.

Amazingly comfortable and versatile. This might very well be the most comfortable “boot” I’ve ever worn. I was a little hesitant since they didn’t offer a wide size, but as with other Danner products if there isn’t a wide option then it’s probably because they are already wide enough for wide feet. These shoes/ boots look great as well. My only improvement would be to use a more scuff proof material / coating on the sole given white tends to show scuffs.

2nd pair of 917 Loggers - had the wine colored pair before and they never wore out but always wanted the chocolate chip color but it wasn't available in my size back when I purchased my first pair. And I needed a size larger this time around due to foot size just larger in older age years and choc chip color was available. Very comfortable, sturdy and all-purpose boot. Used for hiking, travel, street.
