Works as expected
Purchased 2 units, both were used over four days of hikes at Yosemite and were left mostly full over that whole period. Only leak issue was when I sat on the valve was unlocked, valve worked fine after. 3L size came in handy Hose clip slightly finicky to attach to backpack but stays put. Unable to find way of removing mouthpiece from tube for cleaning.

Not perfect, it's it's ok.
It's an okay bladder. The center of the cap screws out so you have the bigger round the hold onto, but it isn't perfect. Difficult to get a full 3 liters in the bladder and keep all the water inside when trying to screw the cap shut. It's a 2-person job just to fill this bladder up. It holds water like a champ and can handle being squeezed to death while backpacking. As far as I know, I didn't experience and leaks. It's light (without water). There is no center hole to loop it into the pack so I had to loop through the screw cap hold.

Stay Hydrated

This was a great purchase, fit right into my (skimmer 28) backpack and have been riding with it. Great quality and I love that the seal is so sturdy and the straw portion is removeable.

Insulated hose still freezes in cold temps

Large capacity, fits well in most packs, but the hose/spout still freezes in temps below zero. I got this reservoir to replace a Camelbak which was notorious for freezing in cold temps, and it works a bit better, but still disappointed that the insulation doesn't protect against temps in the mid/high 20's. The closure can be tricky too, leading to spills, so I always test it at home before putting it in my pack. The spout is really long and sometimes hangs awkwardly around my shoulder straps, but some people may prefer this.

Great bike bag

Had some initial leaking from the smaller center cap of the water bladder. I usually only use Camelbak hydration packs. The bag is a great size for me, as a bigger mountain bike rider, 6'2 210lbs. I like the capacity of the water bladder as well, The major issue i had with the bag is the 4 clips that keep the bigger pouch closed, and two others that close parts of the bag shut. I don't like having to open the straps while getting something out of the bag while I am riding or hike. For me it adds a lot of time, and thinking to getting into the bag on a ride. I had the bag out on a week long biking and camping trip and this issue kept coming up. Hoping with more use I will work the issues out. I also like the amount of gear I can fit in the bag. I think the bag is a keeper for me.

Water freezes!

As another reviewer stated, the water in this pouch will indeed freeze during prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures. But, I looked up the properties of water in a chemistry textbook, and it turns out that this freezing is a process common to all water vessels with thin uninsulated walls (ie plastic) and that the issue was not in fact local to this one brand, and as such should not be a consideration. TLDR its like Camelbak but less $$$. don't overthink it. its a pouch.

Great hydration bladder

I bought this item 3 yrs ago and it's still going strong. So I bought a second one since During this 3 yr period I've had 2 camelbak bladders and 2 osprey bladders fail.

Leaky!

I bought this a few months ago and used it in Glacier today—super disappointed. The bite valve leaks EXCESSIVELY even when locked. Entirely soaked my clothes and pack.

Great reservoir

Great price and great reservoir! I've been using this for the past 3 days. No leaks, great size, and useful with REI packs.
