Works perfectly for me after two hikes
I've only used mine on two hiking days, but so far it's perfectly satisfactory. Allows water filling easily, closes quickly and easily and securely, slides into and out of the pocket in my pack quite easily (partly because it's small). The 1.5 liter size is more than enough for me now in winter but I'll be waiting to see if it's big enough on hot days. Would definitely recommend. Light weight is a real advantage.
FINALLY, a hydration bladder that works!!
I bought two different sizes of the HydraPak bladders, a Velocity and a Contour, and just love them. I cannot believe how many years I struggled, and grew to hate, the CamelBak bladders that I assume must be some of the best. No, they suck and this HydraPak's design finally makes it easy to fill, secure, and then empty without that stupid thread on cap/lid CamelBak has always used. It never worked right and always cross threaded and leaked. The HydraPak design is awesome. Simple and it works great, always. No stuggles, no leaks.

LOVE THIS! We got this to replace either bladder that came in my daughter’s mini mule ( it just leaks so much!) and we couldn’t be happier! Held up great, easy to clean. So far, no leaks!
Great lightweight reservoir
I hike w a REI Flash 22 and a larger Gregory 27L and I can’t reach my water bottles using either pack
