Might just be perfect.
This may be a perfect travel bag for me. I wanted something compact enough to be comfortable as an addition to my roller bag when traveling, big enough to hold anything that I dont want in that bag, and functional enough to be willing to have with me all the time. This could be perfect. I can use a compact camera bag to hold my DSLR, four lenses, batteries and charger, a tech pouch to hold all of my computer plugs and cables, my iPad, 14in MBPro, and have plenty of room for a tripod, all with room to spare in the main compartment. side access for the laptop is great to sneak it out without having to get the whole bag open. straps help secure anything in the pair of external pockets.

Very well built backpack, with incorrect dimension

I planned on converting this to a camera backpack, and checked with Mystery Ranch as to how large the main interior compartment was. Apparently they do not know how to use a measuring tape, as the dimensions they provided were not even close to the size of the bag. Now to be fair I suspected they were off but ordered the bag on the hope that they might actually be close. I was sadly very disappointed when I received the bag and had a chance to measure it. The really sad part is that this is a very very well built backpack and had they even been in the same zip code it may have worked for me. In reality it would be smaller than the camera backpack I am currently using. Pros - Extremely well built - Molle panels make it easy to customize - Two water bottle pockets - Great computer and tablet storage Cons - Too small for what I need due to incorrect measurements provided by Mystery Ranch

Yes , I recommend this product
The adjustable yoke allows you to fit it to your body just right. Plenty of pockets on the outside and internal organization on the inside. Mystery Ranch makes some of the best packs out there and have an awesome warranty. This pack is great for everyday carry, or extended hikes. I replaced my “Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault Pack” with this one, and haven’t looked back

Great everyday carry pack! Hits all the benchmarks. A little pricey for the size, but the name carrys a little bit of that price burden. Still good durability, and versatility.
