I absolutely LOVE my new backpack! I always seem to be disappointed about some aspect of my work backpacks but this Tasra Del Dia is almost perfect. Only reason I took a star off was because the back does not breathr at all, everything else is perfect. Easy pockets with juat the rught amount of organization and the main compartment is slept spacious and will absolutely fit my lunch and a pair of shoes in the winter. I work at a hospital and park far away and it is perfect for what i need. Also looking forward to using it as a personal item when flying. So happy! Very light and the straps feel much better on than I expected. Bottle pockets also perfect, fits my Owala and my Contigo.
About two years ago we purchased a similar version to this one for my kids and we were very happy with it. We needed a third backpack for our current trip and got this model. Everything looked great, we liked the size and storage. I am writing this review from the airport because unfortunately I haven’t been able to carry this backpack on my back! The straps are extremely uncomfortable and really bothering the are of the armpits were they sit. I will have to return the item when we return from our trip. This is very unfortunate as it is a great backpack otherwise. I wonder if they test it before sending this model out for production.
I have been looking for a non-diaper bag diaper bag for a long time. I own quite a few backpacks from various brands for different purposes, they are great but none of them make a practical diaper bag. I have always wanted a Cotopaxi backpack so I did some research on the different 16L - 20L size bags. I came across one review that the lady shared how she used this Tasra 16L backpack as a diaper bag as well as a travel backpack (thank you for the review!!). I bought it and it was the best backpack I have by far. Love the external compartments where I can have quick access to the basic baby essentials (tissues, pacifies, toys). At first I thought 16L might be too small, but each compartment is roomy and I can fit all of my stuff and baby stuff (diapers changing mats bottles hot water bottles few sets of clothing and accessories) in this one bag. The straps are super comfortable and the material is sturdy. Love the color - my husband is a black only kind of guy and even he was eager to carry the bag because of the cool color. Love the zippers and the small pockets inside of the bag where I can keep a lot of small things like keys sunglasses. We have received a lot of compliments on the backback. When my baby grows up she will definitely use this Tarsa as her school bag and she will be the coolest kid in school!
I bought the Tasra 16L Backpack - Del Día for my 7years old daughter's upcoming summer trip to Alaska, and it is absolutely perfect! The unique, vibrant color combination of the Del Día collection is so fun and eye-catching. At 16L, it is the ideal size for her day excursions—spacious enough to keep her travel essentials, snacks, and light layers well-organized without being too bulky or heavy for her to carry. The internal organization is fantastic, making it super easy to pack extra gear for the unpredictable Alaskan weather. It's lightweight, durable, and comfortable enough for all-day wear. Highly recommended for young adventurers!
Change is tricky to navigate for our autistic 7-year old, and this includes getting a new backpack. His beloved Dimi 12L served him well for nearly three years, but when he had some Big Feelings about not being able to load his Dimi independently (he has fine motor delays) with all the stuff for 2nd grade, we felt it was time to move into a roomier backpack. We're almost at the one month mark of "just trying out" the Tasra 16L, and it's just as awesome and then some. The main compartment holds 2 smaller hardcover library books in the laptop section, the Planetbox lunchbox AND the Bentgo lunchbox (on days forgets one at school), a container that holds snacks, his water bottle, and a puffer jacket…all with room to spare! On the outside, the upper pocket is handy to store maybe a dozen or so of his favorite fidgets in the mesh zip compartment. Pencils, markers, a pack of tissues, and his ever growing rock collection easily fit in front of the mesh zipped portion. The bottom pocket currently holds a gallon zip-top bag with a full change of clothes (top, pants, underwear, socks), along with a small pouch of wipes. Every section serves a purpose, and it truly supports organization and independence for our kid. Our only gripe: the water pockets are rather tall. His 12oz bottle (7" height) sits low and can be tricky to grab because of the tight elastic band at the top. We showed him how to pop it out by pushing from underneath, and that works — but a slightly shorter side pocket or looser elastic would make it even more perfect. Overall, the Tasra 16L has been a fantastic upgrade: thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and wonderfully kid-friendly. Highly recommend for families who need extra space without sacrificing function or comfort.
the only reason why I deducted a star was because of the straps and the back of the bag. I love how lightweight it is, the organization, but the straps and back have no way of ventilation. I wore it for a couple hours at the zoo, and while it was warm for the PNW(roughly upper 80s), about halfway through my back and where the shoulder straps lay, were drenched. Otherwise, the bag layed well on the body, everything was organized, and I LOVE the unique colorway. If the ventilation was there, this would easily be my everyday/year-round bag. But for now I would hold off when the temps drop just a bit. So if you're someone that runs on the warm side, but to keep that in mind
This backpack is amazing! I was really excited to see what mine would look like and I love it! The quality is great, the colors are fun, and the pockets are super helpful. I use my back pack for school and I can fit everything I need, plus a bunch of snacks in the top pocket. My old backpack hurt my back, but I’ve been using this one for over a week now and ZERO pain. I also get a lot of compliments on it, so that’s an added bonus!
Love the backpack. They sent me different colour, I love the colour block. Roomy and versatile.
This bag is perfect for your daily commute and work. Unlike other bags where the pockets do not stick out, and hence if they are filled, limit the volume of the main compartment, the two outer pockets stick out. The top is perfect for your essentials - wallet, keys, etc. I use the bottom to hold a change of clothes for s quick PT session in the middle of the day. With these two stuffed, the main compartment still holds: your laptop, tablet, charger, mouse, pens, notebooks, lunchbox, etc. And I can see/access all that is in the main compartment with the outer pockets stuffed! The water bottle holder easily fits a 1L hydroflask, though if the main compartment is stuffed full it can be a challenge to get it in. The straps are comfy and I love the mixed colorway. I haven't used it for this yet, but it would make the perfect personal item on flights - small enough to fit under the most cramped seats, and the organization allows you to access only what you need, without needing to dig through the bag and risk losing things. That said, I have put this in my checked bag for use at my destination - it is super light and lays very flat. My *only* complaint - I with the pockets in the main compartment had a little more give - it gets pretty tight when I have a charger and mouse in the accessory pocket with a tablet and laptop. Maybe with time it will stretch and it is not an issue at all, just a wish.
I brought pack this mainly for its small size, outer pockets and inner organizational pockets. It doubles nicely as a school pack or hike back. It is easy to use, lightweight and fits a small computer, side pockets are good for water bottles which I like. The only downsides: I would prefer the "pen" pockets to be inside the front pockets (vs main compartment), and the straps didn't sit well on my shoulders, one side would always want to slip off a shoulder. Also, I have back issues and despite a light load, this seemed to hurt my back more quickly than my larger backpack would. So, 4 stars.
