Never takes it off
One of our best purchases ever. It's super cozy, super cute, and very versatile. My kiddo loves it and wears it every day during the fall, winter and early spring. Because the hood and the sleeves come off, it works for so many temps and situations. It's not a full rain coat, but can withstand some drizzle. And it's equally cute as a coat and vest. I will say that it's more of an every day/school/biking/walking coat than a hiking/backpacking coat that you would want to pack down.
