So Cool, A 9 year old will actually wear it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know what's hard? Getting a 9 year old to wear a coat. It's uncool, I've been told. Except this coat. This coat is cool- so cool, in fact, I actually had to tell him he didn't need it when it was 65 degrees out. It keeps him warm during the hours of frigid soccer tournaments, and handles the weather really well. And again- it isn't lame, and he will wear it so this is officially the best coat ever made. And dad got one too. Thank you, Northface.
I would definately buy this parka again
This Parka had to be "cool" enought to actually be worn by a Junior High School boy, and it had to be warm enough to wear in the freezing Missouri winters. My grandson loves it. The best part, all his friends think it "cool". Picture shows him with his "French male model pout". He says Junior H.S. boys don't smile when they are really cool in a cool parka.
A must have in cold northern U.S. states
It's freezing in Missouri and my Junior H.S grandson needed a "cool" parka that would pass the discerning taste of the typical Junior High student and his friends. The McMurdo Parka fulfilled all the requirements. He took a photo with what he called his "male model face"..or too cool to smile. But he love is new coat!
Great warm coat for boys
My 10 year old loves the coat. So far it kept him warm even in 10F temps while exploring ice castles in NH.
I would buy this product again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this coat so much. Super comfy and super warm.
Great jacket
My son is picky but he love it
I would love to buy again and recommend other's too
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is warm, fits well.
My nephew loves his Christmas present!
I surprised my 12 year old nephew by ordering him this jacket for Christmas. I meant to buy the black but accidentally ordered the taupe green because they look the same on the site, but that turned out to be a good thing because he actually prefers the green. He doesn't like the faux fur trim on the hood so it's great that it's easily removable. He loves this high quality coat which fits great and does an excellent job keeping him warm.
Too short at XXS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weird fit at XXS. I bought this for my 6 year old that meets the size requirements according to the chart, but the length of the jacket barely reaches his waist. The jacket is shorter than the sleeves, which is not like the pictures. Didn't expect the relative length to change at a smaller size. Quality and look of the jacket is great, so its a bummer that I will be returning it for this reason.
A must buy for cold days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a warm comfortable coat. My son gets very hot easily with many coats. He refuses to keep it on and he is freezing cold without a coat but this coat is perfect. He stays warm and it's comfortable enough for him to keep it on. I wore it out on a very cold windy day and I was comfortably warm. I highly recommend this coat.
