Baggy, unflattering
Unfortunately, my search for good biking pants isn't over. These pants were easy to get on/over my feet, although the two velcro straps around the calves and ankles felt clunky and unflattering, while also not doing much to keep the fabric near my legs. The butt is what made me confident these would be returned- it bagged out and looked really bad, and the way the seams are stitched was strange, with a seam going across the butt panel horizontally, contributing to the weird fit. These also felt higher rise than some pants, which is fine, but the size range for the velcro adjustments didn't work for me where the pants sat on my waist- I couldn't really tighten them at that point.
terrible scratchy seam right over knee!
It seems impossible whoever designed these pants ever rode a bike, as there is terrible scratchy seam right over knee! Like it would dig in and scratch all over your knee as you pedaled. I don't understand how these got past some design review. Otherwise the the pants seem good quality. But unless you size way up and wear some other really thick layer underneath (that is also tough enough on the top to resist wear from that seam), I don't know how you could use these to ride a bike.
