Details on floral pattern and headband adjustment
I think some people may be curious about the description of a floral pattern on the underside of the brim. Very subtle. Also the headband can be cinched down in the back if necessary. This is the light gray.
Perfect hat, user measurement error aside
It's light and breathable and seems really well designed! The detachable strap is a bonus feature; the hat is just as nice with or without the chin strap. I ordered a Medium which matched my head measurement exactly, and it's more the tightness I'd expect from a headband than a hat, which I'm finding uncomfortably tight. I think that's on me for measuring my head with a cloth tape measure wrapped snugly around my skull. If you're looking for a looser fit, then I recommend ordering up a size or measuring your head a bit loosely. Keep in mind, this hat does have a toggle to tighten it around your head, but there's no way to quickly loosen it out.
Runs small
The large really could be larger. The difference between each size is pretty small, there could be a wider range between each size and it would be fine because there's an adjustment toggle in the back. The reflective tab is a nice touch, as is the floral underside but I think a darker brim would be better to cut down glare.
Favorite
My new summer hat. It fits well, adjustable, and the strap is great for windy day. I wear it on my daily dog walks.
Great pickleball hat!
Lightweight, modest sized brim, good coverage -- excellent for doing outdoor racquet/paddle sports because it doesn't interfere with one's sight line
