Bad fit, bad design

Pretty unflattering.... I thought these would have a slimmer fit and I really like the curry color but they are pretty disappointing and do not look very good when worn. Based on OR's size chart, I ordered my normal size 6 and was worried they'd be too tight, but maybe I should have ordered a 4 because these pants are WAY loose, especially around the hips and waist. Even with my tightest belt on they slide down because of their looseness and weird, high rise. The inseam doesn't mesh well with my leg shape and is a bit big but the butt area is really really unflattering. Material and color are nice, but the fit is all wrong. Wish I could return them.

Nice pants-but they run large

These pants are nice. I wish that OR women's pants would run more consistent in their sizing. Sometimes I wear a 2-sometimes a 4-sometimes a 6. I am 5'3 inches. 115# . Based on the reviews I decided to order a 4. They were too big, but they were a final sale and so I can't return them. I will still wear them with a belt. I have ordered them in a 2, but I haven't received them yet. Hoping they fit better because I think they are nice pants. They are a little stiff, but with that type of fabric I expected that. I will give an updated review once I get the size 2. Hopefully they will fit better.

Were these made for a woman's body? Questionable.

My typical sizes are size 4 or 26 in other pants. Ferrosi pants size 4 fit me loosely and size 2 is too tight. I got size 4 in these pants. The waist is laughably huge, like I actually laughed out loud in incredulity. There's probably a good 6 inches of gapping. The thighs fit tight enough that they're restrictive and not great for freedom of movement. I generally consider myself in between regular and curvy sizing. Regular waists are usually loose on me but I definitely don't fill out curvy sizes, so my typical size type is regular with a belt. So I was expecting some gapping in the waist, but the fit on these is ridiculous and nonredeemable unfortunately. Materials seem good quality though!

Sturdy, fitted, cozy workpants

I didn't know I needed these til I gave them a try - nice garment for all-day gardening in chilly weather. The fabric is thick and sturdy, so I don't anticipate them getting worn out anytime soon, and the fabric seems to withstand a little dampness (if I kneel in damp soil, my knees don't get wet). They've got conveniently-placed and conveniently-sized pockets and tuck nicely into tall boots. There's very little "give" at the waist, which felt stiff at first but I actually prefer that rigidity because I bend over so much and there's no risk of slippage and "crack" showing. Well done!

Very comfy

These are incredibly comfortable, sturdy, and well constructed and are quickly becoming my favorite winter pants. I'm petite 5'3" 115 lbs and found that while the size 2 fit me well around the waist/hips, they were waaay too long and baggier than I would prefer. I liked the look and feel of them so much (and flannel lined women's pants are so hard to come by) that I ended up getting them hemmed and tapered by a tailor. In my eyes it was worth the extra time and money because the quality is clearly so high that I know I'll be wearing them for years.

Slim Fit

I was super excited when these pants came back in stock in my size. I purchased them as a cozy winter treat for myself. To my disappointment, the fit is much slimmer than I expected since they are advertised as "standard fit." I ordered the same size as my beloved OR hiking pants so I was confident in the size. They are pretty tight around my waist and hips. I am hopeful that they will stretch a bit with wear. They seem like a sturdy canvas fabric and soft lining but if they dig into my stomach I won't get to enjoy those aspects.

Perfect for my body type and tough-but not flexible

I'm 5' 4", 135 lb, and I usually wear shirt size small and size 6 pants. I bought the size 6 in the women's lined work pants and they fit my body type perfectly! They fit just perfectly over my hips and belly (they button an inch or two below my belly button), which is important since they have pretty much no stretch. I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because they would be more functional if they had more stretch-as it is, they get pretty darn tight anytime I try to squat down or do other more flexible moving.

Love these for winter but fyi colour is off and will shrink

This is my second pair, because I love these pants, but the colour, Saddle is shown on the website as the old colour, Curry. The colour saddle is more of a brown then a yellow, and has different plaid print on the inside. I kept them and still like them, but was disappointed that I didn't get the colour I was expecting. Also, these pants will shrink at least an inch after washing/drying. This works out well for me (I like the length they shrink to), but if you are a really tall person, keep this in mind.

Warm and flattering

I went up a size because OR cotton shrinks a lot but they were a snug fit. I might go two sizes up next time because they really shrunk a lot after the first wash. They still fit but are much shorter than when they arrived. The flannel lining is super cute pattern that matches their shirt flannel. I love it! Very soft lining too. They are a very warm pant so they are great for cold conditions but obviously become uncomfortable once the car heater is on. Probably will get myself another pair.
