[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the Ghost 14 shoes. They offer the perfect mix of comfort and performance. The balanced cushioning feels just right—soft and supportive without being too heavy. I love how the DNA LOFT cushioning runs through the entire sole, making every run feel smooth and responsive, whether it’s a quick sprint or a long-distance session. The breathable upper adapts perfectly to my foot, and I haven’t experienced any hotspots or discomfort, even during extended runs. The traction works well on different surfaces, so I can use them for road running or light trails without worry. Plus, they’ve held up amazingly over time; both the sole and the upper still look and feel great after months of regular use. For me, the Ghost 14 has been a reliable, comfortable, and high-quality choice.
Having recently swapped allegiances from Mizuno to Brooks I’ve been quite happy with the Glycerin Stealthfit, Ghost Max and now these Ghost 14. I’ve kind of gone the other way by buying the newer model shoes first and then back to the Ghost 14 - but that’s because they were on a killer sale! I went for the Ghost 14 in a knit build due to shoes sometimes rubbing on outer of 3rd toe, and there is a lot of give here in these to not have this happen. I would run at least 200k a month. They are a well built shoe and due to me needing a 3/4 orthotic it fits quite well so I can still use the spongy inner sole that comes with the shoe. I’m sure there are similar runners out there like me who are glad we can still use the recommended inner sole and not a full orthotic swap. So a good roomy toe box (in the narrow sizing) and have found the Glycerin Stealthfit to be even more roomy in the toe box which is great. I’m sure the Ghost 14 will last a long time. Has great tread on outer sole that won’t wear out quickly, where newer shoes these days are compromising on this to create lighter shoes. So I’m glad I picked up the Ghost 14. And great colourways too.

Ran in Ghost 9-11, then swtiched to Hoka and ran in Clifton 1, 6, Bondi 6 and now back with the Ghost 14. I felt for years the Clifton One by Hoka was the best road shoe I ever ran in even though it was narrow in the toe box for me. Now after 43 miles, from super easy warm up miles, to tempo pace for several miles I must say I feel the Ghost 14 has now taken that number 1 spot from the Clifton One. 14's have plenty of room in the toe box, good cushion and feel without being too soft in the sole, the shoe feels very stable as a running platform, and generally speaking my feet and legs have taken to the 14's very well. I have not done a long run longer than 7 miles in them yet, but up to 7 miles the shoes felt and performed great for me.
I recently purchased Ghost 14 running shoes, and I'm extremely impressed with their performance. The comfort and support they provide make my runs more enjoyable, and the durable build gives me confidence in their longevity. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super light and fits my feet so comfortably, I really enjoyed my first run with the Ghost, was literally like running on clouds. And with the wide fit, plenty of room for my little toes too!!
You know a shoe is good if there is no desire to take them off and also, you don't realise you have had them on all day. I have a wide foot so use the wide 2E fit which is just right for me.
I was recommended these 3 pairs ago 🥰 and will keep going back for more Brooks! They are an outstanding product that help keep me fit and healthy ...and look cool too!
Best shoe to fit wide wide feet, but Brooks really cut quality on the Ghost 14 compared to my Ghost 12 & 13. It has terribly cheap laces, barely padded undersize tongue and overall cheap construction is very disappointing. I included pictures of my 12, 13 & 14 demonstrating tongue & lace and quality decline. I don't expect this shoe to outlast any of my earlier versions that are still in rotation. I love the sole and stability - very solid and comfortable. I wish Brooks would revert back to the quality upper materials used in the Ghost 12 and just sell at a higher price .. I would definitely pay the difference to restore the quality.
Love my new Ghosts ! I wear them to work for 8-10 hours on my feet with no problems.
