Walking on a cloud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun contemporary style sets it apart from its other lineups. The length and width matches my normal shoe size. Right off the bat it feels very light with little pressure on the feet to activate the shoe. It's surprisingly bouncy in general with support along the inner feet. It gives me youthful energy vibes adding to the charm when chasing after my kids on the sidewalk. There's a utility to it with its snug fit and predictable response, letting me spring into action but also pivot direction when needed. One of my new go to shoes in the top 3 as its a contender to either be my main shoe or for lively morning runs. I find it most alive on concrete surfaces, eating up the road without the punishment.

Solid shoe for marathon training

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to start this off by saying I have been wearing the same shoe model for years, so trying something new is a big deal for me. I tried them on just a short run initially, but they have become regulars in my rotation. They provide a smooth ride with the right amount of cushion. They are light and did not affect my stride whatsoever. They hold my foot well and have caused no pain or running issues. I am also impressed with the way they have worn. I would 100% consider switching to these from my usual.

Nice shoes for long runs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These running shoes felt almost just right from the first run. The fit is snug and secure, though they do run a little narrow, especially through the midfoot. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but runners with wider feet might notice it on longer runs. Stability is a strong point — the platform feels planted without being stiff, which gave me confidence at different paces. The midsole has a moderate bounce: not overly soft or springy, but responsive enough to keep things lively whether cruising easy miles or picking up the pace. What stood out most was how consistent the shoe felt. Transitions were smooth, lockdown was solid, and my foot never felt like it was sliding or fighting the shoe. Overall, it’s a dependable, well-balanced trainer that feels secure and efficient, just slightly narrow for an otherwise excellent fit.

Solid Shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liking the Brooks Launch 12. The black-and-yellow color combo looks sharp, and they were surprisingly easy to break in with plenty of cushion right out of the box. They’re incredibly lightweight, which makes them great for longer runs. The fit is a bit tight along the outside of my feet, and I’m not the biggest fan of the bold “Brooks” lettering, but neither is a dealbreaker. Can’t speak to longevity yet, but early impressions are definitely positive.

Great fit and looks good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Launch 12 catches your eye right out of the box. The color combination is appealing and I like the touch of adding the name on the medial inside of the upper. Lacing up reveals a shoe that is true to size and fits firm yet comfortable. I like the high heel tab and the added stability that it provides. Last but not least, performance. I’ve only worn the Launch 12 while road running, and the shoe does not disappoint. It has been very cold and wet in the Midwest recently, so I will speak to my experience. The shoe breathes well but is a bit chilly, and I wear a mid-weight wool sock. Traction on the wet surface has been good, even at different speeds. The cushion starts thick at the heel and drops as you get to the toe box, which fits with the way that I run. Overall, I’m impressed with the aesthetics and fit of the Launch 12 and have found the road running to be enjoyable.

Love these shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable off the bat. A definite step up from my previous basic running shoes. There is a nice curve to the front of the shoe so if you’re a mid-sole runner each stride rolls into the next. The black color looks sleek. Fits true to size.

A Busy Dad's Go-To

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a busy parent with limited time, I need a shoe that requires minimal break-in and can flex with a chaotic life. The Brooks Launch 12 delivers. These shoes felt great right out of the box with zero break-in period. I took to the streets and a nearby river trail as part of my normal routine and had no discomfort at all throughout the first week (or second) in my feet or knees. The shoe is very light yet surprisingly substantial enough for whatever surface I encountered: pavement, gravel, dirt, and roots. They held securely (without feeling too tight) whether I was hopping over rocks or rounding tight turns. It also provides good breathability through the toe you can feel as you run. The look is understated compared to all of the crazy chunky shoe designs these days which I really appreciate. While I've been using these primarily for morning running, I've taken these out for errands and kid events because of their comfort and non-flashy look. They were also my shoe of choice for my first ever 18 holes of golf. After 4.5 hours, my feet still felt awesome (much better than the rest of me). Overall, the Brooks Launch 12 checks all the right boxes for an understated, multi-purpose shoe ready for virtually any activity you throw at it! Your feet will thank you.

Quick, Comfortable, and Clean Looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, the Launch 12 feels comfortable and true to size, with no real break-in period needed. The shoe feels light on foot and the upper is breathable, which keeps things comfortable even as the run goes on. It never feels bulky or restrictive, and from the first run it feels natural and easy to settle into. The ride is light and smooth with a subtle bounce that makes running feel efficient and fun. It’s not overly soft or springy, but there’s enough responsiveness to keep the shoe feeling lively, especially when picking up the pace. It works well for everyday runs while still feeling quick enough for faster efforts. Stability is a strong point. Whether running slow, steady, or fast, the Launch 12 feels secure and predictable. The heel feels especially sturdy, which adds confidence when changing speeds or running harder. The shoe feels planted without being stiff, making it easy to trust at different paces. The design looks clean, sleek, and intentional. Nothing feels overdone, and the overall look matches how the shoe performs. I really like the appearance and appreciate how purposeful the design feels, especially the solid heel, which visually and functionally reinforces the stability of the shoe. Overall, the Launch 12 feels like a well-thought-out and reliable.

Fantastic shoe for everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m absolutely loving the Launch 12. They’re incredibly comfortable just for going out, and they’ve been fantastic for every run I’ve done over the past three weeks—my daily 4 mile loops feel crisp and easy. The road grip is reassuring, and the cushioning gives a nice bounce with each stride. They’re genuinely light on my feet, and my feet don’t overheat, even when I’m out for a while. Fit is a highlight: secure enough that my feet don’t slide around, but never tight or constricting. They feel very stable around my feet and ankles, which makes me confident on uneven pavement or quick turns. I even took them to pickleball, and they handled the lateral cuts and fast push offs really well—impressive versatility for a road trainer. On top of performance, the look is fire. The yellow and black combo is bold and stylish, and honestly makes me feel super sick whether I’m on the street or on the court. Overall, a killer everyday trainer that doubles as a great casual shoe—easy 4.5 stars
