Great support and bounce

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin 22 Brooks Running Shoes fit snuggly but comfortably. They hold your feet well but have a spacious toe box. The design is very sleek and minimal, the black shoe sole makes the sole not look overly big. The silver grey upper matches anything you might be wearing while out and about, running or daytime wear. The design is minimal and quite sleek. The fabric upper is breathable, soft and non abrasive. I have had no issues with foot sweat. I like how bouncy they feel, they give me a bit of spring when I’m running. The stiff insole makes them very stable. And the foot rolls off smoothly when I’m running. Overall very comfortable shoe I would highly recommend.

1st pair of Brooks and I'm a HUGE fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As mentioned above, this is my first pair of Brooks and (at least so far) they are truly the best running shoes I've ever had. Like the kind of running shoe that makes you excited to go for a run because you get to put them on and really use them to do what they are designed for. The first thing I noticed about them was the remarkable bounce and cushion in the sole. Impact with the ground makes your stride feel electric in these shoes. I want them to be my full-time running shoe. As in, I try to only wear them when I run but I find myself wanting to wear them when I'm just out and about with my wife and kids too. They just feel and look too good to wait on the next run.

Leaving After 15 Years of Loyalty.

Most disappointed! I have been a Brooks Customer for many years and am now leaving in search of a replacement brand. I have been a user of both the Adrenaline and Glycerin models. Both models have been reengineered and cause foot pain. The adrenaline cause pain on the outside of my foot (right foot) where the strap is on the interior of the shoe. The Glycerin model has less padding and a lower toe box roof and causes pressure on the top of my feet. I currently rotate five pairs of shoes as a streak runner and am leaving after 15 years as a customer. I am approaching 70 years old, and appear to have been discarded as a viable demographic.

Comfortable & Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has been using the Glycerin 22 for a few weeks now. From the moment he put them on he said he felt like he was walking on clouds. He says that the fabric is very soft and cushioning and that his feet could breathe. He has used them for running outside in the cold, on the treadmill and even for cross training workouts. They are very versatile, he can go from workout to run errands without having to change his shoes! Overall, his favorite thing about the Glycerin 22 is just how comfy they are! No need to break them in, just tie the laces and hit the road!

Exceedingly comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look, fit and feel of these shoes. The fabric breathes really well even if I'm sweaty. The insole definitely has a bounce to it that I greatly appreciate and it feels like walking on clouds. The design is stylish and neutral so I can confidently wear them with almost any outfit too and not feel like they look out of place. I don't notice any strain or fatigue after running in them and they are super comfortable to wear all day at work as well. I would highly recommend these to any runner or anyone who just spends a lot of time on their feet.

Comfortable and Stylish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of working and being on my feet for hours I finally had to find a shoe that would give me comfort and support for my long work days. After trying on the Brooks Glycerin 22, I knew I found the shoe that I was looking for. The sole padding on the shoe is extremely comfortable and feels like you’re walking on a cloud. I’m able to walk for hours at work and no longer feel pain in my heels after a few hours in at work, now I have 0 pain at all thanks to the Glycerin 22. The gray and black color way also makes the Glycerin 22 extremely stylish and can be paired with any outfit. I highly recommend the Brooks Glycerin 22 and look forward to purchasing more in different color ways. Overall if I had to rate this shoe I’d have to give it a 10/10.

Incorrect sizing

I've bought 2 pairs of these. I work a factory job and stand for 11 hrs a day. When trying these on in store they were a little tight (my first pair I bought a size 10 which is my shoe size. When trying them on the first pair felt a little snug otherwise great. They were two small and as a factory worker they are no longer in returnable condition. I then bought a pair that felt perfect in store 10.5. The new pair glycerin 22 must have an even worse sizing than the 21 because after wearing for 2 days the toe box is still too small. It's the 21st century why can't they get them to fit true to size? These shoes are to expensive to have continuous sizing issues.

New Glycerin 22 Review

Great shoes, I really enjoy the new Glycerin 22s. There is one issue I do have though, the toebox is a bit small/narrow rubbing against my big toes. I have done a few runs, for 2 miles not noticeable. But when I go 4 miles or more my big toe starts to hurt pretty bad. I have many other pairs of Brooks Adrenline, Hyperion Max 3, Hyperion Elite 5, older Brooks Glycerins in same size 8s without issue. I wish the toe box was just a little bit bigger not by much. Hopefully I can get a few more runs in as I only have a handful so far, hopefully they break in. Overall outstanding shoes great for high milage or slow recovery runs. The cushion is perfect and it is very stable at slower paces. I would recommend sizing up by half a size if you purchase these shoes.

My feet love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin 22 are so light amd comfortable that I forget that I am wearing them. They are a nice grey shade that match with any clothing. The fabric is breathable and is very well stitched and pit together. Great quality. While running my heels have lots of support and great cushioning. My feet feel less achy after a run. The design surely has the running dynamics in mind. This is my new go to running shoes. It is a perfect fit. What I might add is some reflective material to aid visibility for those who run outdoors.

A Glycerin for every runner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice soft stride but still responsive. They feel slightly wider in the normal width shoe than previous Glycerin models I have had but I have a narrow foot to begin with so maybe just me. 22's drop to 5 lace eyelets from 6 on the 21's of old. Also 2nd and 4th eyelets are cable loops rather than tradition round hole eyelets, who cares, right? Will the difference mean the pressure across your arch is more adjustable however it can make the shoe a challenge to lace up tight as the laces do not hold position as well while being tied. Only a little test of your tying talents and dexterity. Overall, still a great shoe for comfort and performance, short miles or long.
