[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe these are the best running shoes on the market. Having gone through many other top brands and various made for speed shoes, the Hyperion 3 stands out in comfort, durability, and style. These shoes are light and fit like a glove. The sole is perfect in my opinion, supportive but not overly cushioned so I still feel the responsiveness of each step. I’ve worn two pairs of Hyperion 3. I love their bright color options like the “Miami Vice” and “Highlighter Yellow”… both names made up by me but you get the visual of the style. My Hyperion 3 shoes have lasted me 400 miles and still could go a bit more, but I retire them for day to day wear at 400. Buy these.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been running for over 5 years, and after a few weeks with the Brooks Hyperion Max 3, I’m thoroughly impressed. The fit is secure yet comfortable, with a sock-like upper and great heel lockdown. The cushioning strikes a perfect balance—soft enough for long runs but still responsive, thanks to the dual-density midsole and rocker design. It delivers a smooth, efficient ride that keeps my legs feeling fresh. Despite its high stack, the shoe feels stable and supportive on roads, and so far, durability has been excellent. It’s a top-tier daily trainer that’s well worth the investment.
Absolutely disappointed with these. I loved every aspect of hyperion 2 and was so excited to try these. First, the upper is not breathable AT ALL! The tow box is narrow to the point that I had pain from my fingers hitting the toe box after a flat four miles run! The sole feels like a cheap hoka! Despite hyperion 2 being an amazing fast shoe that was my go to for tempo and interval runs, the hyperion 3 felt like a cheap plush shoe that depleted all of my energy with each stride. I could not even maintain my easy run pace with these and I’m not exaggerating. Absolutely disappointed at Brooks for messing up the hyperion 2. First with catamount and now with this :/
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is review of the Brooks Hyperion 3 running shoe. I use the shoes for casual jogging, aerobics, warm up at the gym and for normal everyday use. I average 2 days a week weight lifting and 3 days cardio. The shoe is comfortable and very lightweight. If fits snug and is not tight. The cushion sole is like a firm pillow on my feet. No pressure points or rubbing after 4 weeks of use. The shoe performed well during my runs around the track at the gym. It gripped the track well, no slipping, and was responsie and very stable. Materials are made of good quality and are holding up well after four weeks of use. As far as design, I love the flexibility of the tongue, it pulls up easily. The heal tab was too short and hard to use for getting the shoe on. The color is a bright aqua and I did not like at first, but I warmed up to it. Overall I really like the shoe and would recomment it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Brooks Hyperion 3 for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become my go-to shoe for both speed workouts and casual everyday wear. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly lightweight they are—seriously, it feels like you’re wearing nothing at all, but still getting great support. The cushioning strikes the perfect balance between soft and responsive. It’s firm enough to push the pace but still provides enough comfort for runs. The updated upper is breathable and hugs the foot nicely without feeling restrictive. No hot spots, no break-in time—just straight performance. Traction is solid even on slightly wet pavement, and the energy return from the midsole keeps me moving forward with less fatigue. These shoes make tempo runs feel easier and have even shaved seconds off my splits. Highly recommend for anyone training for a race or just looking to add a fast, lightweight shoe to their rotation. Brooks nailed it with the Hyperion 3!
I bought and had to return! I absolutely loved the Hyperion 2 (from fit, to comfort and overall look), and I wonder why Brooks would totally change pretty much everything with the Hyperion 3. The Hyperion 3 was tight fitting everywhere on my foot. I have worn an 8.5 in every Brooks (Ghost, Hyperion Glycerin) and never have felt like shoe was overly snug. These did. Again, I returned after one run in these- disappointed- bought a last pair I could find of the Hyperion 2!! If you were excited about the Hyperion 2s don’t have expectations that the Hyperion 3 is anything like!
Wow- I love these! The fit is perfect and the comfort and bounce makes these hard to beat. I’ll be back for more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is almost perfect! No issues with traction, upper material, laces or midsole. I only felt it was a tiny bit snug in the toe box but it stretches out by 50 miles. Midsole bounce is perfect. It is a speedy shoe but can handle any pace. I limit it to a 10 miles run shoe since it isn’t a large stack shoe. That said, I don’t think my legs would get beaten up running farther. Might be my half marathon and below shoe when I want to race without a plate. This is my go to shoe for a majority of my runs from tempo to speed work and daily miles.
Disappointing revision and a classic example of regression toward the mean. The Hyperion 1 & 2 filled a relatively sparse market space for quick and light non-super shoes for fast days. They were not perfect - a bit too flexible for me - but very solid for their purpose. Brooks already has gobs of cushier, slower trainer options, but they seemed to have listened to people that were simply in the wrong shoe by making the Hyperion more average and boring - still passable for many but fantastic and interesting for likely nobody.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Are these the same as the Hyperion 2. No. Are they still fantastic. Yes! I really wasn't sure after reading all the reviews but after trying a few other brands (and really not getting on with them) I decided to just go for it. In the first week with them I've done a 5 mile tempo and an easy 20 mile long run. They've been great! Still have that amazing ground feel of the Hyperion 2s, a little narrower admittedly and still fun when you pick up the pace. Going to be a daily driver for me over the coming months for sure!
