[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my Glycerin Flex and couldn’t wait for the snow to melt so I went straight to the local gym and ran for an hour on the treadmill. The support is superb, and even though more break in time will be needed it felt comfortable right away even for a 200 pounder like myself. For the first time ever it felt like my foot kept contact with the insert throughout the entire stride cycle. The Flex groove between forefoot and heel makes all the difference in the world. Be aware that if you have a wider foot the toe box might feel narrow. I don’t have a wide foot (about 4.5 inches across widest part) but the shoe is snug yet comfortable. I highly recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Book's Glycerin Flex has been an extremely comfortable shoe for various activities. I spend most of the day on my feet as a healthcare worker, and these shoes have provided the cushion and support needed to last the entire day, allowing me to seamlessly transition into after-work workouts/activities with no issues or need to change shoes. They provide the needed support and structure for running/jogging, although they aren't the most conducive shoes for lower extremity weight lifting or agility type training, as they don't feel quite as supportive laterally relative to the Brooks Ghost line. Overall very attractive shoe in my opinion, just wish they had more colors at this point.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was always a big Nike guy when it comes to running but when I was able to try these shoes out I was really impressed. This will most likely be my go to running shoe moving forward. The comfort and breathability are great on this shoe. The flexible upper keeps your food snug and secure without being too tight and I have wide feet and my feet felt comfortable in these. The mid sole is great just the right amount of cushioning without being too bulky or unstable. I used these mainly for running some light strength training workouts and they performed great. I also used them at work standing on my feet for 9+ hours of the day and my feet felt great. Overall great experience and great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free to test and write an honest review. As a trainer I am on my feet a lot and continually demonstrating exercises. These didn’t just look nice, they provided great stability with lateral movements with a secure feel at the ankles and spacious toe box. They worked outstanding for most of my workouts, although I recommend really getting a lifting type shoe for Olympic lifts. Although these would do the job fairly well, hard to beat a lifter. What you cannot do with a lifter is run. These shoes not only helped with lifting, but I was able to run 5k distances, and short sprints just as well. Over as a trainer or just someone who exercises regularly in a gym, these get the job done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love these Glycerin Flex running shoes. They are really comfortable and feel great on my weekly runs. The flexible and soft outer portion of the shoe is unique and unlike any of my past running shoes. This material and portion of the shoes feel great on the sides and top of my foot, while also giving my feel the feeling of being supported. They also have a nice bounce to them and each stride feels like you’re popping into the next one. It gives me the feeling like I’m supposed to be out there running and like my feet are working easier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a different shoe than my typical choice of the Adrenaline but it's been a welcome change. Very comfortable and versatile shoe. Soft feel that is not slow. Nice flexible wear and very durable for what I can tell so far. Has been comfortable on the road and in the gym. I like the style a lot but would prefer a different color pattern than all white for myself personally but it did grow on me. If you're looking for versatility this is a great shoe. * I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks got the cushion for that pushing. They are great for running the trails. I'm a beginner trail runner and haven't had shoes like this with so much cushion, I prefer to feel my feet to the ground and be able to move. These needed a little getting use to but are great once I did. No need to break them in. The shoes help cushion the impact from the ground and rocks. The flexibility and design of the shoes is great. The shoe hugs my feet. The tread of the shoe makes it extremely flexible. The knit makes it breathable. Design and color is subtle, the neon green blends in with the white and the knit holes of the shoes and have a hint of black. Compared to the Glycerin GTS 23 they feel the same with the support but the tread on this makes it more flexible.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to put this shoes on , after a few runs they truly stood out for their comfort and performance, the enhanced flexibility allows the feet to move naturally trough each stride, creating a natural flow from heel to toe. The responsive cushioning provides excellent energy return while delivering maximum cushioning making them ideal for both long and short runs. Their platform is very stable and adds confidence under foot even at higher paces, very easy to put on and off without sacrificing a secure fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of the Glycerin Flex, but wow! I’m a believer. These shoes are very comfortable, even with arch support inserts in them. For such a light weight shoe, the Flex are stable and supportive. I felt fast and snappy. The landing with each step is nice and soft. You might notice there’s almost too much cushion in the heel when just walking. But that is not an issue when running. I was able to take big strides with minimal impact. The tread is unique. I occasionally experienced a slight slip when I expected grip. And the contours allow rocks and larger debris to get stuck. But none of these issues will stop me from wearing them. Finally, the tongue occasionally needs some adjustment when putting them on. It can fold over on itself deeper in the shoe. When that’s fixed, the fit is great throughout my run.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a lot of Brookes over the years, but these are the softest impact ones I’ve ever tried. Great arch support and a soft feel from the time you strike until you push off. Of note, I really dislike when shoes dig into my Achilles and these are the first ones I’ve used from Brookes that have a very soft back and a little offset through the foam. No irritation at all in the back. I will use these until the soles fall off.
