Try them on first

Bought them for gym climbing. They were on sale at my local shop and the only size they had was my normal running shoe size. I like my climbing shoes really tight - zero extra room in the toe. Even so, these are just barely tolerable. Fine for an hour or so at the gym, but I could not wear them all day. I probably would have gone up a half size if they had it in stock. That said, I really like the shape of the shoe. It’s wide through the ball of the foot and short in the toe, so I can jam my toes in front without squeezing the rest of my foot too much, which gives me great toe control with no flex.

Awful experience — sizing

This isn’t a “runs small” situation. It’s a “the sizing is so off, unless you can try them on in person, you should not buy them” situation. I know climbing shoes fit tight. I like my climbing shoes even tighter than that. Still, I ordered my usual RUNNING SHOE size; those of you who run know that means .5 UP. Erred on the very large side given the online order. They were so small I could barely put them on, and once they were on, I was basically making a fist with my toes and couldn’t lace them or stand up. Didn’t even know my foot could bend like that. Really bummer because this is a beautiful, well-made, versatile shoe, but it unfortunately has to go straight back in the mail. Please do not discontinue — just fix sizing!

All-Day Shoe

Comfortable and durable. Not my favorite all-day shoe (that is reserved for my Grandstones), but I wouldn’t be disappointed if it were the only shoe in my bag. It’s currently being used as my crack climbing gym shoe. I’ll probably end up getting them resoled with Vibram XS Edge, as Adidas ruined the C4 rubber. Then they may get used outdoors more frequently!

Thumbs Up For Five Ten

NOTE: I have NOT tried this particular model. I owned a pair of Five Ten Razors (green w/purple laces) during early 1990s and regularly climbed at the New River Gorge. My preference being steep face climbs at 5.10 and above. I loved my Razors!! I find that the climbing shoes manufactured in Spain are too narrow for my foot, but Five Tens fit me perfectly.

Runs too small

I love the shoes and the quality seems to be pretty good the size... I go with Adidas size 8 (8.5 sometimes). Friends wanted to get these as a gift for me and bout me size 9. It is still so small. I know your toes should be bent a bit in climbing shoes but these 1 seize bigger than my normal shoe and still are at the point of breaking my toes!

The size chart isn't accurate at all

Got these as Christmas gift... they use the size chart and ordered based on my normal shoe size. Those were extremely small(I couldn't even put them on!) I sent them back and ordered 1.5 size larger It's still very small. And yes, I do know that rock climbing shoes are not supposed to be comfortable, But, these are beyond uncomfortable...

Shear DEElight

Okay. So I may have your attention. This is a belated review of the Five Ten Razors. Those crazy green shoes with the lavender laces. I used to climb at the New every weekend and these shoes performed great on steep face climbs. Loved 'em!

Try them on, buy in two sizes

The laces help get a custom fit. These shoes are great for beginners because the toes aren't curled in. They are comfortable to wear without having to take them off frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality but the sizing is totally off and needs to be reviewed.
