High quality running shorts

Great running shorts. Like the mesh boxer liner. The pockets are meeh - the rear pocket with zipper is most functional and can fit my cell phone but not well. The pocket mesh liner is interesting and could hold a credit card or DL but that is about all it is practical for. No pocket would work very well for nutrition packets like GU. Overall will be my go to running shorts for runs less than 10 miles. For longer runs or race may have to figure out an alternative.

Great shorts, lightweight and comfortable, seem to run a little large.

Love the lightweight feel of these shorts. They look great too. Back zipper pocket is good for some keys and emergency cash. Only issue is sizing. I'm 6'3" 190lbs and the medium is a little big, or maybe the lining just isn't supposed to be as snug as I prefer on the thighs. Mostly it's noticeable with a cellphone in the lining pocket... seems to move around slightly. Not a major issue, but I would suggest sizing down if you have any questions.

For the big boys too

Thank you thank you thank you for making a 2xl. As a transplant living in the south I get wore out by the high humidity and easily overheat on days above 80 degrees (f). So far these shorts keep me feeling light and strong and I will be ordering more pairs. As a fat person training for the joy of it being able to find purpose suited athletic wear that performs well is rare and I can’t recommend these shorts enough.

Not a good use of funds

I’d give these a zero if that was an option. The internal pocket acts like a slingshot and pushes stuff out of it so don’t even try to put a phone in there. The outer layer of the shorts flaps like a skirt in the breeze. Overall these are very awkward and poorly designed. On a lighter note, they look nice if pretty is your thing!

Brooks Designed Another Great Running Short

lightweight, sturdy short material. side pocket right thigh which can fit an iPhone XR with a case. the rear pocket "anti-bounce" is nicely designed. more difficult to fit a phone but can fit cards and keys easily. great reflective material highlights. well designed runner's short, fits true to size

No side pockets = miss

As a daily night runner I was excited to give these a spin, but these are going to the back of my queue. Bafflingly, unlike the Sherpa shorts, these have no exterior side pockets. This makes the shorts much less versatile and shiny strips don't justify the extra cost and loss of functionality.

Works great; just order a size down

Had to order a size down, but they work great. I’m around a 32” waste and 155 lbs. first time I’ve ever fit in a small instead of medium. I like that they have a built in pocket in the leg of the boxer briefs for a phone (fits my iPhone 7)

Great weight and feel

the weight on the shorts is terrific in my opinion and the compression from the shorts hits the right spot too. Will definitely be go to early morning or late evening run shorts.

I returned it 6 surveys ago. There were not front pockets. PLEASE STOP THE SURVEYS. I love Brooks shoes, but you are driving me back to Mizuno.
