[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mens Journey 7" 2-in-1 Shorts are nice! They fit true to size, I got a medium, and they fit great in the waist. The fabric is stretchy, comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. I really love the drawstring on the inside as well. The overall design is great, they have a full pair of boxer briefs on the inside and a good amount of pockets. I realized they are a little shorter than I’m used to, but overall, they are great for lounging around as well as being active. I think my favorite part of these are the drawstring being on the inside, only thing I’d change would be to get them in a longer inseam. Otherwise they are great!
Lightweight and comfortable shorts, just missing pockets!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Journey 7” 2-in-1 Shorts by Brooks are true to size and hit perfectly about 3 inches above the knee. The 100% recycled material is not only lightweight, but feels very high-quality. The ventilated fabric above the hip adds extra breathability during high-intensity workouts and activities. One complaint I have is that there is only one pocket, and it is in an inconvenient location. In addition, the inner lining does not seem to be as supportive as other lined shorts I have worn. But these trade offs contribute to the lightweight design and breathability that make these shorts perfect for workouts in the heat!
Nike Running Shorts

These shorts run quite large, and despite their intended size, he found them difficult to keep on. The waistband didn’t stay secure, making it a challenge to wear during physical activity. The design is sleek and sporty, with clean lines and a that minimalistic Nike logo. The vibrant blue color is definitely a standout and looks great, adding a pop of energy. It's a perfect option for anyone looking for a bold workout look. The fabric is soft and breathable, which I really liked. It felt light against the skin and would be comfortable for long workouts or outdoor activities. However, I did notice that the liner, which some might prefer for added support, could be a deal-breaker for others who don’t like them.
Great fit, lots of pockets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite my initial skepticism towards shorts with liners, I was impressed by the fit and feel of the Journey 7” 2-in-1 Short. They provided excellent range of motion, and I never felt restricted during workouts or runs. The design includes several small, convenient pockets, which were a nice touch for carrying essentials. The Neo Blue color is… vibrant, and ended up being a bit too flashy for my personal taste. There are a few other color options available, but it would be great if Brooks added more color options in the future. And of course, the one real downside of shorts with liners is that they are single-use between washes, so if you run or work out more frequently than you do laundry, you’re gonna need more shorts. But overall, a solid choice for performance and functionality.
Best Shorts on the Market

They're true to size and the unlike other brands on the market, these are the perfect length. Not too short, not too long. As an experienced runner I've tried lots of different shorts and these are the best out there. I've added three additional pairs to my collection and highly recommend!
Top tier for running, comfy for casual wear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had these shorts for a few weeks now and have been on several neighborhood runs in them. So far, I’m thoroughly impressed. The fabric is buttery soft and has great 4 way stretch. I don’t normally wear shorts that have an inner liner, but after I got used to the feeling around the thighs, the fit felt snug in the right places without rubbing or chafing. My favorite features of these shorts are the versatility and all of the pockets for storage. The longer length on these shorts provides a bit of extra coverage at the gym, but also means they look great as casual shorts that can be worn daily. The zippered phone pocket is large enough to hold a pro max with a standard case, and the way the pocket is built into the inner liner holds the phone in a way that keeps it from bouncing around. There are numerous easy access pockets for anything else I need to carry like keys or ID. Overall, these are solid top tier running shorts that are also really comfortable and good for relaxing.
Reluctant Shorts Wearer

That is until I presented him with the Brooks 2 in 1 7 inch Men's Journey Short. The shorts were a perfect fit! He really likes the soft inner short and the airy light outer short. They are perfect for running. He doesn't get hot and there is no chafing. He also appreciates the design of the inner short. He never worries about showing too much skin. He even felt comfortable enough to do a yoga class with me! I think the favorite part of the shorts are the fit and the color. He loves the beautiful vibrant royal blue color! The only change I would make is to get him more so I don't have to wash them everyday!

It's wonderful to replace my boxer briefs and gym shorts with one integrated garment. The briefs portion is supportive and just the right fit. Instead of my phone (iPhone 12) jostling around in a pocket, it fits snugly in the zipper pocket meant for phones. The two elastic pockets in the back securely hold my car key fob and AirPods case while I run. I also love the vibrant blue color. The stretchy fabric is conducive to warm up and cool down stretches in addition to the running motion.
Great running shorts

The liner is a new feature for me, but it was surprisingly very comfortable to wear. The fabric is made of good quality and has the right amount of stretch and wicks away sweat. Great bonus to have many accessible pockets including a zipper pocket for keys or small items you don't want to lose. Will definitely keep this in the rotation for my runs. If you want a pair of comfortable running shorts with all the extra features you might wish for while on a run, this is for you.
Sliding running short
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I had a hard time with these shorts. I just started wearing a 2 in 1 short and I am sometimes uncomfortable. I’m used to the loose feel of boxers. I feel that these shorts are a great option for working out because they provide coverage for a man and support. I really liked the feel of the shorts. They are light weight and soft. The fit was hard for me. I lack in the buttock area and even with the shorts tied they slipped down. I was constantly pulling them up which is hard while working out or running. I really like the look of these shorts, as well as, the color. I don’t own many vibrant shorts. Most of mine are black or gray. The color was a nice change and one I welcome. There are a lot of pockets which are great. I did notice you can tell what is in the pocket (wallet, money, key, etc) which I don’t especially like. But it is nice to be able to keep my personals with me at the gym. It has a large zipper pocket in the back for your phone which is useful as well. The fabric is nice- soft, lightweight, and drys quickly. I would definitely buy something with a similar fabric for myself. I think my favorite part of these shorts are the pocket for my phone and the lightweight feel. I gave these shorts a 3 because they kept sliding down and I was constantly pulling them up. I would love if these shorts had some way to change how they fit around my waist. I have a long torso and I think having a slightly higher waist on these would help tremendously.
