Fantastic glasses, but falling apart in 18 mo

The optical quality of these glasses is amazing, especially on the water. They are also great for driving, though there are some slight image artifacts created by certain reflections off of vehicles. I still give them 5 starts for all-around image quality, though. Unfortunately, my pair was falling apart after less than 18 months. The silicone nose piece fell off first, and then the silicone parts of the ear pieces started coming off. Paint is peeling off the frame (I have the matte black frame). I take good care of my stuff, and I wear these glasses for driving and going to theme park-it's not like I'm a commercial fisherman or wearing them on an oil rig. I don't even wear them in the pool. I'm sending them back to Costa for warranty repair, and I really hope their warranty is as good as people have told me. For this price, they should have lasted a lot longer.
