Poorly Designed Band
Save your money, get the Fenix 5. The watch band, which is what you're paying for on this model, is Titanium on the outside and rubber on the inside. The rubber makes for a comfortable fit during activities but causes the sprig bars that connect the watch band parts to break out constantly. I've had it for 5 months and had to take it to watch repair 7 times. One time the watch fell off at the movies and luckily a friend stepped on it on the way out and noticed it was on the ground. Great technology though. But save your money, this strap will break and leave you with a lost watch or heading to the repair shop constantly. I'm strongly considering an Apple Watch as a replacement unless someone has another titanium band smart watch they'd recommend.
Disappointing
This is a beautiful timepiece with software that perfectly met my needs. However, without ever either abusing or tampering with it in any way, the metal band detached from the watch on one side. Fortunately it didn't fall off me, loosing a $1500 watch. I used the newly designed "easy" pin to reattach it and 2 days later it occurred again. Had to return it....very disappointed. perhaps it was just one defective pin but I didn't want to chance a design flaw.
Faulty rubber band
The rubber band included wears very quickly and eventually snaps off-depending on circumstances this could result in the loss of a very expensive watch. Garmin will not replace the band but will charge you a substantial fee to get a new one.
