Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job, but kind of a pain I really just need something to track steps and this fits the bill. I like the app interface. But the time between charges is really short for me - right at 2.5 days. And the wristband is not easy to remove and re-secure. I do not anticipate it will last 6 months, but we will see... I would not recommend as I believe other Fitbits may be easier to deal with. I dealt with the Charge HR in the past, but returned when I received an awful burn from wearing sunscreen with the tracker. Shouldn't a fitness tracker account for workouts where you sweat and wear sunscreen? Plus it was ridiculously inaccurate when compared with my Polar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun tracker for the not so serious athlete I was not too sure about getting a FitBit ever until I saw that this one was waterproof. I've owned it about 3 months and so far I've worn in the pool for lap swims and also cross country skiing. For swimming, I still keep track myself how far I've swam and the fitbit is usually within 50 yards of what I've counted with most of the times hitting the distance exactly right. I've only worn it xc skiing twice. The first time it picked up the steps, but nothing as "exercise". The second time it picked up 23 minutes of exercise after skiing for 2 hours. I guess it might take some more tinkering with to get it to accurately track skiing. I'm curious to see how it does with surfing and softball this spring and summer. As far as steps go, it seems to be spot on. I've had no problems with that so far. It claims the battery will last up to 5 days and that's true. I've gotten 4 days at the most which is perfectly fine. The band is comfortable, much smaller than I thought and most of the time I hardly know I'm wearing it. Overall, I really like this Fitbit. It's cool to see the data from my activities and it helps me make improvements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I thought it would be. I bought this just a couple weeks ago. It was my first fitness tracker and I was a bit skeptical because it is so small. I was very surprised how accurate it is and very impressed as to how it recognizes different exercises. I have gone on runs, bike rides, lap swimming, and used an elliptical machine (yes, I'm very active). It recognized all those activities with a great amount of accuracy. The app is very detailed and easy to startup and use. So far, so good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work I got this about a week ago and was so excited as I have never had a fitness tracker before. First of all it is constantly trying to "sync" and spinning in my app, like it is not connecting (even though it is close, I have internet available, etc.). It is missing a lot of data and will randomly load steps or sleep information and then wipe it out. I have had to charge it 4 times in 5 days as the battery does not hold a charge at all. Maybe I just got a dud, but I am sending back and will look into other options.

Am I able to read my data on the flex2 or do I have to read it on my phone?

Asked by: Nancy Darrow
This activity tracker is minimalistic, and does not have a screen to display your statistics. It links easily to your laptop or mobile device, and tracks your activities into the downloaded fitbit software. The Led lights on the band serve to alert you of your movement activity, and when your linked, cell phone is receiving a call or text alert.
