amazfit  Helio Strap

I wear garmin watch most of the time but sometimes I want to wear my analog watches, and Amazfit is great alternative. Cheaper than WHOOP and polar LOOP.

Does not show the pulse in the app, you need to enable training then only shows the pulse. If you enable walking mode, a message is sent saying that all data will be passed on to third parties. I do not need this, my data should only be with me. The app is not functional, there is no ability to collect only what I need on one screen. Shows a lot of marketing information that I don’t need and it annoys me. No possibility to change the graphic information, many inaccuracies. its functions are expensive heart rate monitor, the program is not installed on a PC, only a phone. Not all smart scales can be connected to the program. Too many unfinished features.

This is helping me listen to my body and not overtraining. Some days, I have much more stress and added physical demand that I go home and still workout thinking I need to get it done and go hard. With this device, I’m reminded of how my sleep was the night before and how much energy It calculates for me having for the rest of the day along with the amount of energy I’ve already exerted. When I go over my recommended exertion for the day, I’m more likely going to injure myself for overtraining. I can focus on improving my recovery and getting to peak condition so I’m able to go hard on the days I’m truly recovered.

I’ve been using the Amazfit Helio Strap for a while now, and I’m honestly very impressed with its performance and comfort. The strap is lightweight and feels great on the wrist, even during long workouts or sleep tracking. I’ve been using the Amazfit Helio Strap for 5 now, and it’s become a solid addition to my training routine, splitting time between weightlifting and padel. The recovery metric has been especially useful, it helps me gauge whether to push harder or dial back a session based on actual data, not just how I feel. The design is comfortable/lightweight for all-day wear — adjust to your experience. Battery life lasts around [10 days], which [is more than enough / falls a bit short] for how I use it. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone for exercise, padel, swimming, etc.

I wanted the health and activity tracking I got with my Apple Watch but without the screen and partial-day battery life. The Helios is exactly what I wanted. It interfaces with Apple Health and directly with a few other health and workout apps and basically has everything I expect from tracker. It does a good job automatically detecting when I'm active. The one recommendation I have is to pick up a compatible strap that meets your needs. The stock one isn't bad, but it's very general purpose. I was able to find a more comfortable daily wear strap, a bicep strap, and a little more stealthy/dressy strap that definitely make this a welcome daily wearable tracker. Battery life is easily lasting a week or more.

Great experience so far. I’ve had whoop for 6 years and I’ve been trying both out now for two weeks. The Zepp app displays things almost like whoop but the calculations are different. I like the battery analogy like garmin does which Zepp uses biocharge. I like that the biocharge changes with my strain/activities. Something whoop does not do. I give a 4 because Zepp all needs more of a polished ui and to create their own style and not copy so closely what whoop has done. Also the strap sucks!!! Invest in better straps. Something sleek and modern. People will pay for them.

I wanted to get away from wearing a smartwatch constantly (I needed to detox a bit) and wanted something sleek but powerful to wear 24/7 to continue tracking my metrics. I have had Amazfit devices in the past, but had most recently been using the Pixel Watch lineup (1, 2 and 3). I love the depth of information that Zepp provides over Fitbit, and I have especially been loving the new Biocharge feature. I also haven't had an Amazfit devices since Aura was a feature, and I've been finding the Aura AI Personalized Music incredible for relaxing and falling asleep.

Excellent product. I wanted my workouts tracked with accuracy in a simplistic layout. I wanted my sleep tracked to identify consistency and wake time. I wanted no annual fee and to own what I was wearing. I track and journal on my own and can reflect back on the day for my habits where the whoop would normally track in the app. I’m ok journaling manually and find it more joyful in my personal reflections with pen and paper. This is a great product, very happy with the battery life, the workout accuracy and overall metrics tracked.
