Good watch, couple upgrades could make it great
After being a Garmin Forerunner user for a long time I made the switch to the Coros for the usability of their app and the price point of the Pace 4. I primarily use my watch for running, trail running, and hiking. This watch is great as a running watch with basic smart watch capabilities. Pros: -Very light weight and low profile. -Easy to interact with the interface and an easy to use app -Really fast GPS connection -Recent addition of capability to use maps (won't get a ton of use, but will be nice on vacations) -Happy with the upgrade to the aluminum bezel for a more premium finish Cons: -I'd rather have a MIP display, I don't like sacrificing so much battery life to have a watch that always displays the time -You cannot customize what data is displayed on you main watch face, you have to select from the preset coros faces -When not in "always on display" mode, the only option is for a 3 second display of your watch face. I wish this was customizable to display for longer -Day to day battery life (since I have opted for always on display, I get about 5-6 days of use with about an hour a day of recorded activity on average) Overall I am happy with the watch so far. It works great as a running smartwatch without too many extra features I realistically won't ever use. My biggest complaint is I do miss the display of my old watch. I hate having to sacrifice day to day use battery life in order to have a watch that always displays the time. Especially when I know how good battery life on some of the MIP watches is without this sacrifice. I also prefer the more subdued tones of my old watch face as apposed to the brighter display on this watch. Given the option I would have chose this watch with a MIP display, but couldn't justify the upgrade to the APEX 4 just for the screen.

Exactly the same as the Pace 4, just a bit more premium feeling. Really enjoying this watching. Coming from a guy who’s ever just had an Apple Watch. It’s missing some functions that my Apple Watch had but not a deal breaker in the least.
